Our Wedding

<p>Their story began around the year 2007-2008, when their brothers played on the same squirt hockey team. Since they were only 11-12 years old at the time, they of course never talked to each other (but knew of each other). Their paths crossed yet again about 3-4 years later since they were on the same bus route (still, didn't talk to each other). Their paths crossed once more as Tommy was becoming good friends with Ben (groomsman), an ex-boyfriend of Maddie's. With crisscrossing friend groups, they somewhat intermingled with each other but again, no talking. The talking finally started when Maddie sent Tommy a text that read, "This is Maddie, they told me to text you?" Texts turned into hanging out, which turned into becoming homecoming dates, which turned into Maddie begging Tommy to ask her out in the Rosemount DQ parking lot on September 30th, 2012. 11 years of memories later, and they're getting married! </p>

Sister of the groom and future sister-in-law of the bride. Mary is the sweetest human being and will always have your back.

Post-college roommate turned friend of the bride. Covid bonded them together into the best of friends.

Tess Kovala

Roomie of the bride post-college. The bride thought Lauren hated her at first, but it turns out she just wanted to be best friends. 

Lauren Petersen

The brother and life-long best friend of the groom. They shared a bunk bed for 18+ years, and have 27+ years of memories and laughs together. One time a family member asked the groom about Mikey, and said, "who is your friend? He is hilarious we really like him!" Mikey also got the groom addicted to Universal Studios Orlando and they have shared many memories there! Mikey is the best brother and will always make you laugh.

Mike Linder

Danny and Mikey(brother of groom) played hockey together in Squirts and are the reason the bride and groom met for the first time. He is the brother of the bride. He appreciates deep conversation, thinking outside the box, and has a great outlook on life.

Danny Phyle

If looks could kill, the groom would've died in 2012 when he met Zach. It turns out Zach is an awesome dude and fellow Wild fan(sufferer). He is a brother of the bride and the protective one. 

Zach Phyle

Cousin and lifelong best friend of the groom. Top ranked ball-tag player in the early 2000s, and once played on the same soccer team as the groom.

Shannon Ahern

Cousin and lifelong best friend of the groom. Finest Bartender in the St. Cloud Area. He once fainted in front of an entire church congregation(which the groom was in).

Riley Ahern

Andy first met the groom when they played baseball together in 8th grade and have been best friends ever since. Andy and the groom once took a trip to AZ because Andy's parents bought tickets to the Wild vs Coyotes in AZ on accident. Andy is always down to play tennis and spikeball; he is also always down to be a great friend and confidante too.

Andy Hansen

One of the groom's best friends since starting high school. They met at Rosemount High School's summer BFS program, partnering in various "weightlifting" exercises with Sam Bauer(also a groomsmen). Once he asked the groom, "Do you even have any friends?!" He is now one of them.

Travis Parker

The groom first met Sam playing baseball in 6th grade, back when Sam's favorite phrase was "I may.... have to kill you!" Sam and the groom quickly bonded over Eminem/Lil Wayne lyrics and have been great friends ever since. The groom always hitched a ride from Sam after school, leaving the Rosemount High School parking lot blasting the songs "Lighters" and "No Church in the Wild" in Sam's Toyota Camry. Sam always has your back and will always make you laugh!

Sam Bauer

Ben and the groom first met playing on the same hockey team in middle school, and became even closer in high school. Most of the fun memories made amongst Ben, the groom, and their friends  over the years were most likely a product of Ben. Ben is the life of the party and is always putting others before himself. Ben is also an ex-boyfriend of the bride! Yikes!

Ben Nelson

Cody and the groom met playing hockey in 8th grade, and quickly became friends. They continued playing on the same hockey teams and ended up going to college together. Every time the groom goes to a Wild game, he sees his best friend Cody there. Cody is the type of friend who will give you the shirt off his back AND give you a lot of shit at the same time!
