Molly has been Maddy's Best Friend since that fateful day freshman year first day of science class in 2008. Molly was wearing those thin rubbery plastic bracelets where different colors meant different things. Molly was wearing nearly every color, indicating she smoked weed, had given a guy a handy already, and whatever else fables the colors associated with. Molly was explaining this to someone sitting near her, Maddy sitting in front of them eaves dropping. If you tugged on a bracelet it indicated you had done the same thing. Who knows which one Molly was talking about, but Maddy turned around and grabbed the bracelet of this random girl she didn't know and snapped it. Molly, without missing a beat said something along the lines of "hell yeah man" and they got to talking. By the end of class they made plans for Maddy to come over to Molly's that weekend to dye her virgin hair. Once they started hanging, Molly showed Maddy the best of emo/screamo music, the best skinny jeans and band tshirts, these scene queens couldn't be stopped. They went through a swift transition between sophomore and junior year where they gave up emo sadness (never) for candy kid bracelets and hippie mama sun dresses. They transitioned to being very proud "bar bitches" where they could be found front row at edm shows downtown Chicago their parents definitely never approved them going to, riding the rail and head banging aggresively. They graduated to camping music festivals like Summer Camp & Wakarusa, again fooling their parents into somehow letting them take the car for weekend long hippie dance parties. Molly was Maddy's first for many things (the BEST of influences). First time smoking weed (and first time for many substances for that matter), first edm show, first festival. Maddy saw Molly being raw, authentic, real, and overall just a badass bitch. Her energy attracted Maddy from the get-go, and they have been frolicking on adventures together ever since. Catch her on the dance floor, finger guns-a-blazing, bopping away to the beat.

Tim (TT) and Tim Brown (TB) met at a job interview in 2007, where TT was applying to take over TB’s role because TB was leaving on one of his famous globetrotting motorcycle trips. When TB returned, they picked up where they left off, though slowly drifted apart, as friendships sometimes go. Then on TT’s 30th birthday, TB came out to San Francisco to visit, thus rekindling their bond. They stayed in touch the years that followed and then TT came out to visit TB in Austin in 2015, where TB introduced TT to the festival scene - kandi, electronic dance music, costumes, party favors, … the whole shebang, ultimately earning TB the illustrious title of “best worst influence” and forever changing TT’s life. Since then, they’ve been the best of friends, sharing and making memories, caring for each other through life’s challenges, and generally being a bonded pair of souls, the two Tims taking on the world. When you meet TB, you’ll find him to be charismatic, intelligent, thoughtful, and caring. If he’s not making mouthwatering food to share with all of his friends, he’s telling incredible stories from his many trips & adventures abroad, or mustering the gang to make the most of life. TB has a catchphrase of his own, “I LOVE LIFE!!!”, he will often yell out when overcome with the same vim and vigor that drives him to seize the day, each and every day. If TT is important to you, you have met or heard of TB - and when you meet TB, you’ll know why he and TT are the very best of friends.

Nikki and Maddy met through mutual friends in 7th grade, 2006. Nikki was a bit of a tom boy, dressing like a skater kid who was into punk music and marching to the beat of her own drum. Maddy was attracted to Nikki because she was different, hyper independent, and didn't give a single fuck what anyone thought about her. Nikki and Maddy became cheerleaders together and this continued through sophomore year of high school, with both of them making JV and achieving their first back hand springs together (foreshadow: they continued to flip backwards head first through life together) Nikki & Maddy threw their first big party together in 8th grade that involved lotsa vodka and lotsa vomiting. Nikki took Maddy on her first motorcycle ride having gotten her motorcycle license and buying (with her own money) her first motorcycle at the age of 20. Nikki and Maddy were big dreamers and whatever they wanted, they worked hard and got. They even, at the ripe age of 16, somehow convinced their parents to allow Maddy's mom to take them to Cancun Mexico, stay in an all inclusive resort during spring break IN A SEPARATE ROOM, and somehow not get caught in their many nights of sneaking out to go clubbing with fellow spring breakers. Nikki took Maddy to get her first tattoo, a big leo horoscope tribal rib piece when she was 17, obviously knowing a guy who was pretty legit and very professional. Nikki, 17 as well, got her big Shirdal/ Persian Griffin representing the guardian against evil and a symbol of happiness and prosperity. Nikki is one of those people that she doesn't do something fully if she can't do it thoughtfully, precisely, and near perfection (BIG virgo energy, am I right? ) So Maddy trusted the process and they got two giant amazing works of art on their body. Although Maddy moved out of Illinois after Senior year, Nikki and Maddy have always remained close friends. Visiting one another and cheering each other on in their scholarly pursuits, many romantic partnerships, starting their professional careers, and finding their forever partners. Nikki is a rare gem that Maddy has made sure to hold close forever and ever and all eternity as their paths remain aligned as if the stars had foretold their bond long before they crossed paths in this realm.

Tim and Dana met at Electric Forest in 2016, where they camped together at Tim’s first festival. Dana was (and is) a little more reserved and Tim tried a few different ways to connect with Dana, eventually finding out the bass/trap music would be their initial connection point. Tim heard bass/trap music for the first time at that festival and it blew his gosh dern mind. Dana, however, was well versed in the ways of bass and he agreed to be Tim’s “trap sensei”, to teach him the art of wobbles, suggesting artists that seeded Tim’s first real genre deep dive of EDM. They stayed in touch off and on, as new festival friends do, but they really solidified their friendship when Tim invited Dana to see NGHTMRE at Red Rocks, and because Dana had a conflict with his Mom’s birthday, Tim wrote a personal letter to excuse his absence and request his attendance. She obliged :) Since then, Dana has made an annual trip to visit Tim (and now Tim and Maddy) around the same time. While Dana might describe himself as boring, many would disagree. Dana is very sharp and witty, quick to laugh & quicker to make a playful jab. He’s incredibly smart and knows a lot about a lot, especially about extra nerdy games. If you’re looking to meet Dana at the wedding, it may take some time as Dana is somewhat reserved and is more likely to be found in a small group rather than the large party. Once you do get to know him, it’ll make finding him that much easier - he is a creature of habit, making it easier to track him down and enjoy his charms and infectious laughter.

Andrew and Maddy met in Andrew's honors dorm hallways freshman year 2012 at the University of Arizona. Maddy was in awe and intrigued of this quirky long blonde haired (we're talking down to his shoulders) kid who was obsessed with Ke$ha. Andrew and Maddy floated in the same friends circle but weren't initially super close, often finding themselves in the same circle of 12 people crammed into a small dorm room passing around a bottle that took way too much effort to convince an adult to buy for them, at a mark up no less. Andrew came up with an in-genius idea that saved them from being caught by dorm hall monitors and dodging the possibility of a MIP (minor in possession). People often would leave their study things out in the common seating area at the end of the hall, so one day Andrew put his laptop out there and joined a video meeting with himself through his phone, darkened the screen, and left it there to catch any incoming hall monitors so they wouldn't get busted for their inevitable hooting and hollering within the room. It worked extremely well and they were then able to graduate to apartment partying by sophomore year. As the years went on Andrew and Maddy grew closer in friendship, hanging out/smoking weed & playing video games/camping on mount lemon/ going to shows at the rialto theatre/ late study nights at the library most likely on adhd medicine (being incredibly good scholarly students, duh). By Senior year they lived in houses about a 4 minute walk from one another and would usually see each other every other day. They had a bittersweet departure when they graduated U of A in 2016, Andrew of course popping off with a 10.5 GPA in Pre-Med and going on to become a Doctor, and Maddy with her 3.00002 GPA moving on to pursue her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Helpers and healers, the lot of em! Although they were apart they continued their friendship through various moves, seeing each other for visits and communicating strictly through memes they know the other one would find funny. A TRUE millenial friendship at it's finest. Maddy has always admired Andrew because of his no-bullshit attitude, incredibly intelligent big brain energy, his impeccable taste in pop and house music, and his loyalty as a tride and true homie for life. It is no surprise that if someone needs to be brought back to life on the dance floor, Dr. Gray BB will always have your back.

Tim met Marcela in 2016 at a EDM Meet-Up group in Denver. Tim just launched a fresh start and Marcela was new to the city, both looking to make new friends. After connecting over a series of meet-ups they became fast friends; their mutual love of music, dance, and no-bullshit realness led them to hang out often and they explored the Denver music scene together. Marcela also played an integral part in Tim & Maddy’s relationship. It was through an extended social connection that Maddy came out to their first festival together, Marcela also planted the seed in each of them on their first meeting that the other “thinks you’re cute”, despite neither of us saying that… but definitely sparking interest. Since then, Tim & Maddy regularly meet up with Marcela and her husband Daniel for festivals and ski trips, where they get to enjoy Marcela’s delicious cooking. If you’re looking to meet her at the wedding (and you should), you’ll find her not far from the dance floor, getting down and taking lots of pics and videos to document the night for everyone. She’ll be the one with the big, inviting smile and brimming with love!

Kaitlynn and Maddy met during Maddy's Junior year and Kaitlynn's Sophomore year at the University of Arizona. Initially meeting as study buddies, and evolving into running their own on-campus Flow Arts club together, Kaitlynn and Maddy ended up moving into the cutest little 2 bed 1 bath casita with a HUGE backyard (perfect for parties and their 36 ft geodesic dome they built). Kaitlynn and Maddy could often be spotted together out at local shows from Tucson to Flagstaff, attending Gem & Jam every year with a huge camp of homies, and joining/building camps at their local burning man events; Sagurao Man and Decompression. You see, Maddy has a knack of convincing people to light things on fire and twirl them around their bodies and Kaitlynn was no different. They grew and evolved in the act of spinning fire hoop with one another, having fire nights in their backyard with fellow local flow artists and improving their craft. They were no strangers to dancing, frolicking, and getting the funk down whenever they could. They also hosted some pretty dope parties, the favorites to date being the Valentines Day Singles party and Maddys' 21st Blunt Mama 21 Blunts party. The Valentines day one was noteable due to the fact that they made plastic handle jungle juice in a giant cooler and Maddy had the bright idea to mix in a bunch of edible glitter and label it "unicorn cum". This resulted in a large portion of the 50 or so people in attendance to vomit glitter all over their backyard and inside their home. Very noteable indeed. Maddy's 21st Blunt Mama 21 Blunts party consisted of a giant rotation of people spanning every room in their house passing around, you guessed it, 21 different blunts that people rolled that were then voted on and scored to determine who was indeed the blunt champion. Kaitlynn and Maddy taught each other a lot about friendship and truly balanced one another's energy out. They both stayed close friends after graduating, Going to the Oregon Eclipse festival in 2017 taking a 12 person Tulum Mexico trip with each other in 2021, and always supporting one another in their careers as Kaitlynn went on to become a Naturopathic Doctor (another healer, surprise!). Kaitlynn has always been a sweet and kind soul, radiating a gentle and calming presence. A goddess and a Medicine Woman who Maddy has always deeply respected. Watch out on the dance floor, as she will booty bump anybody to join her in the rhythm of her own flow.

Tim and Jake met at Electric Forest in 2016, where they camped together at Tim’s first festival. Thereafter Tim and Jake were both part of the “Unicorn Festie Fam”, where they regularly came together for festivals, music events, and rave cave getaways, giving them opportunity to steadily build and grow their friendship. Over the years the Unicorn crew dissipated, but Tim and Jake kept finding reasons to get together, usually meeting up at least twice a year for Shambhala and Seismic. There are many reasons why Tim counts Jake among his best friends, the first being he truly appreciates the majesty of dark and dirty dungeon techno. The second is that he is the most genuine, gentle, caring soul most will meet. The third is he is super smart and extremely funny, making light of ugly things and laughing heartily at the absurd. The fourth is… well, you get the point; there is a lot Tim loves about Jake. If you’re looking for Jake, just try to find the Big Gay Wizard (or was it Giant Gay Magician?) - you’ll know him when you see him.

Amalia first met Maddy during their first trimester of their Master's program and the University of Denver. Amalia was pursuing a Master's in School Counseling which led to a few overlapping classes in their curriculum. It was in Counseling Theories that Maddy first noticed Amalia when she walked into the room. She could tell by her looks that she was a former/current emo kid (we just have a sixth sense for these things, man) and this intrigued her. Maddy was initially shy and waited for an opportunity to connect with Amalia during a group project/discussion and they got to talking. Maddy's instincts were indeed correct, she was/is an emo kid just like Maddy! Not only that, but Amalia also liked raving... head-banging to be exact! Thank the heavens! Amalia and Maddy's friendship blossomed from there, and you could typically find them doing homework/studying with one another (sometimes), but more usually they were straight chilling enjoying one anothers company on the couch smoking weed and watching Adventure Time or Jersey Shore (there is no in between!). Amalia and Maddy took advantage of the fact that they lived in the bass capital of the US and would often go out to edm shows around the city including many-a-wobbly nights up in the bleachers of Red Rocks. There may have been an off chance they went to see Nelly at Temple night club and Maddy MAY have almost gotten into a physical altercation with someone who shoved her 4'11 friend while simultaneously spilling their drink on them (sources cannot confirm nor deny). Amalia was around when Maddy first met Tim and watched their relationship blossom, with them often arguing who would be cat peach in mario kart as Shememeowlia clearly identified, as did Cat Tim. Amalia and her now husband Ryan had always called themselves meatballs, and at some point caught Tim and Maddy canoodling and snuggling, deaming them noodles. It was then they banded together to become a team: Spaghetti and Meatballs. Maddy was blessed to be asked to be a bridesmaid in Amalia's wedding in Denver, and now Amalia is returning the favor of honoring one another's forever partners. Even though Maddy moved to Austin after graduating their Master's program, Amalia and Maddy have stayed close ever since, often meeting up at festivals, rave caves, and ski trips. What drew Maddy to Amalia and what she loves most about her is that she has a heart of gold. She will give someone the shirt off of her back, she is quirky and weird (maddy and Amalia often find themselves belting made up songs about life as if they were the next hit broadway stars). She is fiercely loyal and radiates empathy for every living creature she comes in contact with. For anyone lucky enough to befriend her, they will find an authentic and grounding friend for life.

Tim was introduced to Blake via Tim Brown when Tim moved to Austin in 2019 to work for Facebook. Tim was eager to buy a home and Blake was a realtor. It just so happens, Blake is also well-known throughout Austin’s DJ/raver scene and he seems to know everybody worth knowing. Blake invited Tim to his anniversary party, thereby introducing him to his incredible community of friends which welcomed Tim & Maddy in with open arms. Since then, Blake has been a constant in their lives, inviting them to shows, organizing wild events & parties, and educating them on the finer points of cinema. If you know Blake, you know he’s a wild card… a joker, if you will. Always laughing & joking, always pushing buttons & boundaries to elicit a reaction - and always done with a heart of gold. More often than not, you’ll hear him before you see him, and then when you see him you know you’ve found him, so make it a point to meet this amazing, wild jester.

Britney met Maddy one fated evening in Austin, Texas at Scratchouse on August 6th 2019 while Maddy was out seeing Kendoll for her 26th birthday. Maddy or Britney (hard to recall who) walked up to the other one and started gushing about how pretty each other were and complimenting their outfits. They pretty instantly became friends and started vibing and dancing together on the dance floor. Maddy knew Britney was cool (she could feel it in her bones) and so naturally invited Britney and her crew over to her house for afters. They were the first to arrive and immediately settled into laughter, playfulness, and joy once around one another. Britney was the first that evening to go completely butt ass naked in the hot tub, leaning over the side shouting obscenities at anyone in ear shot. It was then that Maddy REALLY knew that they were going to be friends. Their friendship grew more and more as they could be found galavanting across the city in the wee hours of the morning, going to local edm shows, going camping, and joining one another for girls only wine nights that always included nostalgia movies. Britney had already had an interest in hula hooping when she first met Maddy, and Maddy being who she is immediately started stoking her flame and encouraging her in her hoop practice. Eventually Maddy convinced Britney to try spinning fire and this amazing Firey Sagittarius Goddess hasn't looked back since. The most noteable quality time they experienced together to date was driving to Backwoods Music Festival In Arkansas. Let's just say they had an absolute ball, frolicking, tiddies out on the mountain having the time of their lives. Britney is what you would get if a unicorn and a barbie doll pooped out a rainbow baby. She is so full of life, so joyous and always the life of any party. Her laugh can be heard a mile away and her smile lights up any room. She is incredibly kind, sweet, and good natured to anyone who is lucky enough to cross her path. She always saves the day if you are feeling down by making you crack a smile and end up in full blown giggle fits by the time she's done with you. Britney is very real and blunt, you will know how she is feeling about you because she will tell you and she is always very honest about how she feels about something. This 'don't give a fuck' confident attitude may have been what initially drew Maddy to Britney. Look out for her on the dance floor, she is a walking beam of sunshine in human flesh with a very large booty for shaking.

Tim met Dusty at Tim’s first party in Austin (Blake’s anniversary party!). Over the years since, they’ve grown closer and have shared many incredible memories, including rave caves, camping festivals, birthday parties, wing nights, holiday dinners, and everything in between. Dusty in one of those guys that everyone knows and loves - he’s smart, handy, successful, has amazing stories, is the first to crack a joke - and he’s the founder & president of the muthafuckin sweet guy club, being one of the most caring and kind people you’ll ever meet. Some say Tim and Dusty have a lot in common, but really Dusty is the definition of wonderful and you should go out of your way to meet this incredible man - you’ll come away with a new great friend, I’m sure of it!
