Our Wedding

Our story began in October of 2015. It was our senior year of high school when Garrett and I began texting back and forth off and on. I know, a love story for the millennials. We didn't officially meet until New Year's Eve of that year when Garrett decided to make the trip to come meet me. (Don't tell John his boy traveled 2 hours just to meet a girl ha!) After that weekend, I knew I was done for. He had my heart. We just clicked and I fell hard for that long, blonde-haired, blue-eyed boy.Fast forward five years later, we have shared proms, high school graduations, four years of college together, and thousands of memories along the way.After college, we decided to come back and make Garrett's hometown of Atlanta, Missouri our home. We now have a beautiful house and our sweet, four-legged fur-baby, Chief.On August 27th, on the side of Pike's Peak Mountain in Colorado, Garrett decided to get down on one knee and ask me to spend forever with him. After a few "is this real?" and "are you serious" comments, I said YES!! (Then we hiked 3 miles uphill back to the car and I contemplated my decision... joking!)It's so cliche to say, "when you know, you know" but not too long after I met Garrett, I knew. I have the diary entries to prove it. (Lol)I can't wait to marry this man!

Garrett and I love The Pear Tree! This is our favorite restaurant in the area. Amazing atmosphere, wonderful service and impeccable food.

If you are planning a weekend in Macon, you have to stop and visit West Winery. A quaint winery with a great selection and relaxing atmosphere.

Long Branch Lake State Park is a beautiful lake that has many camping sites, trails, boat ramps and a large beach that is open to the public. Garrett and I love spending warm summer days at Long Branch, it is a mini oasis so close to home! If any guests decide to make an entire trip out of their time in Atlanta, we would definitely recommend checking out Long Branch State Park!

Garrett &amp; I both love Koch's! It's a local grocery store, coffee shop, deli, and ice cream parlor with lots of local goodies. Truly a one-stop-shop! They have an amazing bakery, their cupcakes especially! Right off the highway on your way into Atlanta. We highly recommend stopping in on your way to town!
