We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Please RSVP so we can finalise details. Thank you—we can’t wait to have you with us.
We’re so excited to celebrate with you in beautiful Trinidad! To help make your trip as smooth as possible, here’s some important travel info and recommendations.
Arrival
The airport in Trinidad is Piarco International Airport (POS), located just outside Port of Spain. This is the closest airport to the wedding venue and our recommended accommodations.
If you find better deals flying into Tobago, the airport there is A.N.R. Robinson International Airport (TAB) in Crown Point. Tobago is a beautiful island worth visiting during your trip for our wedding! There are regular flights between Trinidad and Tobago, but during Carnival season these can sell out quickly — so please plan ahead!
Note: If you’re traveling internationally, please check visa requirements for Trinidad and Tobago.
Visa Requirements
As of 2025, citizens of the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States do not require a visa to enter Trinidad and Tobago for stays of up to 90 days.
However, some travellers from countries such as Australia and New Zealand are eligible for a visa on arrival, which requires prior approval. If approved, a fee of TT$400 must be paid in cash at the port of entry, as credit and debit cards are not accepted.
Travellers are strongly advised to check the latest entry requirements with the Trinidad and Tobago official government website before travel.
Getting Around
While Trinidad is full of amazing sights and experiences, it’s important to be aware that some areas can be unsafe. For your safety, we do not recommend using maxi taxis or ride-share services like Uber.
You can rent a car, but please be aware that driving here can be challenging. Road conditions vary, with potholes and inconsistent enforcement of traffic laws. Drunk driving is unfortunately common, and some drivers have obtained licenses without proper testing. If you’re not familiar with local roads, driving can be stressful.
To make things easier and safer, below we have provided recommendations for trusted, experienced private drivers you can hire during your stay.

Weather & Packing Tips
Trinidad is warm and tropical year-round. Expect temperatures around 25–30°C (77–86°F) in February. We recommend packing lightweight clothing, sunscreen, comfortable shoes, and a hat for sun protection. Most places are air-conditioned, so you’ll stay comfortable indoors.
