Our Wedding

We first crossed paths on March 30th, 2019, during our exchange at the German Sport School in Köln. Amidst a lively group of international friends, we quickly became close, sharing countless adventures and inside jokes that made the unfamiliar feel like home. After returning to our respective countries to complete our degrees, we stayed in touch, sharing occasional updates and reminiscing about our time in Germany. A year later, on July 31, 2020, we reunited in Paris and spent two incredible weeks exploring the charm of Provence, rediscovering the ease and joy of simply being in each other's company. Despite the challenges posed by the global situation, we found ways to be together. From quarantining in Toronto to exploring Canada's landmarks, our adventures continued. Eventually, we settled in Hamilton, where we completed our degrees. Our journey took us across continents, from festive holidays in Norway to sunlit days in Mexico. We faced challenges, celebrated milestones, and found joy in the mundane. In 2022, we moved to Kristiansand, Norway, embarking on new professional paths. Eventually, the allure of a larger city led us to Oslo, where we welcomed Watson, our spirited dachshund, into our lives. On a quiet morning at Ole's family cabin, with the fjord's calm waters as our backdrop, Ole proposed, marking a new chapter in our journey. We're grateful for the support and love from our friends and family throughout it all! We look forward to celebrating this next phase with you, cherishing the memories we've created and the adventures that lie ahead.

Vi møttes for første gang 30. mars 2019, under vårt utvekslingsopphold ved Deutsche Sporthochschule i Köln. Blant en livlig gjeng internasjonale studenter fant vi fort tonen, og vi delte mange opplevelser og en humor som fikk det ukjente til å føles som hjemme. Den 31. juli 2019 returnerte til hvert vårt hjemland for å fullføre egne utdannelsene, holdt vi kontakten gjennom musikkprat og mimring fra tiden i Tyskland. Nøyaktig ett år senere, den 31. juli 2020, møttes vi igjen i Paris og tilbrakte to uforglemmelige uker sammen mens vi utforsket Provence – og gjenoppdaget gleden i bare å være sammen. Til tross for utfordringene i verden rundt oss, fant vi måter å være sammen på. Vi var i karantene i Toronto og dro på oppdagelsesferder i Canada – eventyrene fortsatte. Etter hvert slo vi oss ned i Hamilton, hvor vi begge fullførte mastergradene våre. Reisen vår har tatt oss over kontinenter – fra julefeiring i Norge, til solfylte dager i Mexico. Vi har møtt utfordringer, feiret milepæler og funnet glede i hverdagen. I 2022 flyttet vi til Kristiansand og tok fatt på nye, profesjonelle eventyr. Etter hvert ble vi trukket mot storbyen og flyttet til Oslo, hvor vi ønsket vår energiske (og litt engstelige) dachshund, Watson, velkommen inn i livene våre. En stille morgen på Oles familiehytte, med fjordens rolige vann som bakteppe, forlovet vi oss – og markerte starten på et nytt kapittel i vår historie. Vi er utrolig takknemlige for all støtte og kjærlighet fra venner og familie underveis. Nå gleder vi oss til å feire neste fase sammen med dere, og til å skape nye minner og opplevelser på veien videre.

Oslo Airport (Gardermoen) ↔ City Center (Oslo S) Most of our international guests will arrive at Oslo Airport (OSL – Gardermoen). From there, getting to the city is straightforward. Here are the main options: 1. Flytoget – Airport Express TrainThe fastest option to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), taking about 20 minutes.Trains depart every 10 minutes.Tickets cost approximately 230 NOK.Purchase tickets:You can just tap your card at the gate or use the ticket machine once thereOr pre-purchase on the Flytoget app or website 2. Scandic is a well-known and reliable Norwegian hotel chain with many other locations around Oslo, so feel free to explore their other properties if you're looking for something in a different area or price point.
