Please arrive around 2:00pm to allow time for seating by our ushers Chad and Elliott.

We ask that you refrain from doing this as our photographer will snap all the wonderful pictures you're looking for.

We plan to have our ceremony outside at the venue. Aspen Sky has indoor and outdoor spaces, which is part of why we chose it! You can choose to hang out outside or inside during the reception/cocktail hour, but dinner will be served inside along with the hors d'oeuvres.

Gary's favorite food is BBQ! So, that will be the main course including brisket and pulled pork. For our vegetarians and pescatarians, we have a pasta option (but it isn't limited to those people, so feel free to have some!) Sides include classic BBQ sides and salad. As for the drinks, there is not an open bar. Gary and Madeline are not big drinkers, BUT there WILL be select wines and two select beers along with soft drinks available to you. Madeline and her friends love wine on a Friday or weekend night. When Gary goes to Michigan to visit, Spotted Cow is always in the car with him for his friends. It's a special occasion!

There will not be a shuttle provided for you to get back to where you are staying or where you live. Please, please drink responsibly!

There are tons of little downtown areas, coffee shops, and places to hike that Gary and Madeline frequent. The Ice Age Trail has some really great hiking locations, downtown Oconomowoc is always fun as well! Roots coffee shop is one of our favorites and if you're looking for clothing, Fray Boutique is a shop Madeline frequents! Sherper's is one of Gary's favorite stores with outdoor gear and clothing as well. If you are looking for more, contact us directly! We'll give you some great options.

We tried to do this at the Cobblestone in Hartford, but they only allowed 15 rooms, so we opted not to block off rooms as we have many people coming from out of town. It would be near impossible to block off the amount of rooms we wanted to!
