stay at the venue

camping

One of the biggest reasons we choose this venue was for its ability to camp! We would love nothing more for all of you to continue the celebrations and stay the night on site-- especially if you have been drinking (the road is very dangerous and is definitely not save to drive if you are impaired)!!

Feel free to bring tents, campers/rvs, cars, hammocks or whatever your preferred sleeping method is! There is plenty of space for everyone. If you choose to bring a rv/camper or even a tent plan on arriving early (3:30-4:00 pm) to set up. We would like all camping sites to be set up by 4:15 so you can make your way to the ceremony location for the ceremony time of 4:30.

Our one request is that during the scheduled wedding festivities people do not hangout at the campground as that is not where the celebration is happening. It will make us very sad if you are somewhere else-- don't be the reason we have FOMO at our own wedding!!

If you do plan on staying at the campground remember to follow proper Leave No Trace principles and pack it in and pack it out. Please be respectful of the venue and don't leave any trash.

cabin rooms

There is a very limited number of cabin rooms or dry bunkhouses that will be available for rent. Please contact us if you are interested in this option.

Q + A

What time should we arrive to set up our camper/RV/tent?

The ceremony will begin sharply at 4:30 pm. We recommend arriving between 3:00-4:00 depending on how long it takes to set up your camping situation.

Will there be access to bathrooms at the campground?

Yes! There will be a bathroom that all guests at the campground can visit. Additionally there is one shower you can access but we ask that you use this as a last resort as there is simply not enough time to allow everyone to use a single shower.

Will there be hookups?

There will not be any access to hookups. Please come prepared for a "dry" camping experience. However, there is a water spigot that pumps from the well if you want to wait to fill your camper up with potable water until you arrive.

Can we bring our pets?

As much as we love having a high human to pet ratio the venue doesn't allow for guests to bring their pets. Please make arrangements ahead of time for the furry members of your family.

Can we run our generator?

Yes, but if possible try to turn them off at night to keep noise down for everyone else in tents.

can we have a campfire?

This is TBD but for right now we are going to say no to individual camp fires but maybe we can orchestrate one or two communal campfires for after the reception.

When do we need to leave by on Sunday?

We need to have the venue cleaned and completely empty at 11 am. We ask that you plan on leaving around 10:30 am to allow time for those cleaning up to make sure the campground has been cleaned. Please make sure to clean up your area! We want to make sure it looks like we were never there by the end!
