You’re invited to join in Madeline and Baxter’s favorite wedding tradition of running a 5k the morning of the wedding! This will also represent Madeline’s Georgia 5k in her pursuit of running a 5k in every state before she turns 30.

The course will consist of 4, counter-clockwise loops of 0.7 miles. The final lap will add a small distance in the home stretch to complete the 5 kilometers.

The start is at the corner of Lafayette and Barksdale. The finish is at the crosswalk on Barksdale that leads into the playground.

There is sidewalk all along the right side of our course. From Barksdale, turn left on the Prado, and then left onto Westminster Dr. Hug the park side when you turn left onto Peachtree Circle. Then back to the sidewalk along the right side of the road when back on Lafayette. Please stick to the sidewalks when available.

There is plenty of parking all along Winn Park! It is a large, oval-shaped park. Just make sure that you are parked on the correct side of the street.

It will be best to park along the Lafayette Dr. and Barksdale Dr. side of the park, as that is where the start and finish will be.
