Come kick off the wedding weekend at Park Tavern. This will be the perfect place to see the couple before the big day.
Wear shoes you can swing your partner in, because there will be a brief Square Dance! No previous experience needed. Cowboy boots, denim, and enthusiasm encouraged.
Baxter and Madeline met at a Young Life camp, where there was a Square Dance every Wednesday night. It was the first time they danced together, and it will be the best opening to their special weekend.
Making it even more special, Madeline's parents' rehearsal dinner was also a Square Dance. We hope you will want to give it a try on May 17th.

The inaugural McWhorter Miler! Come dressed ready to run or cheer on Baxter and Madeline’s favorite wedding day tradition. See the additional McWhorter Miler page for course details to participate or where best to watch the runners.
For years, Baxter and Madeline have run 3.1 miles the morning of weddings of which they are guests. You’re invited to join in their tradition and run a 5k around Winn Park. Runners, walkers, and cheerleaders are welcome! A commemorative trophy and hydration libations wait for you at the finish line.

The ceremony will be in Madeline’s home church of First Presbyterian, where her parents were married in 1992 and she was baptized in 1995. Please plan to arrive before 5:15 and enjoy beautiful music before the ceremony.

Join us for a cocktail hour and reception at the Wimbish House, located just 3 blocks from First Presbyterian. You will most likely find the couple on the dance floor. The evening will be full of music and dancing as we celebrate the new McWhorters!
