Jalen and Madison met during Physical Therapy school. A few months later, Madison made the first move by inviting Jalen out to a bar with friends. A whole year before popping the question, Jalen asked Madison’s parents for their blessing—a quiet but meaningful start to the next chapter. He and Madison had planned a cruise vacation to St. Thomas, where they met with a jeweler to design a custom engagement ring and wedding bands together.

Before the cruise, they traveled to Florida to meet up with both of their families. One evening, the group headed to a local favorite, Sharky’s on the Pier, for dinner. As the girls browsed a jewelry stand (naturally catching Madison’s attention), Jalen and Madison’s dad slipped away to the beach.

Eventually, Madison wandered down to join them—completely unaware of what was about to happen. There, with the waves behind them and their families nearby, Jalen got down on one knee and asked Madison to marry him on May 28, 2025.
