Jalen and Madison met during Physical Therapy school. A few months later, Madison made the first move by inviting Jalen out to a bar with friends. That night sparked something special, and just a week later, they went on their first official date. From classmates to soulmates, their journey has been full of laughter, growth, and love ever since.

How we met

Madison and Jalen’s first date was a little unconventional—it started as a group outing to the bars with close friends. Before heading out, the two met at Madison’s apartment, where they ended up spending a few hours talking and connecting one-on-one. By the time their friends arrived, the night was already off to a great start. The rest of the evening was filled with laughter, easy conversation, and one memorable first kiss. Just one month later, on January 13, 2023, Jalen officially asked Madison to be his girlfriend—and the rest is history.

Our first date

A whole year before popping the question, Jalen asked Madison’s parents for their blessing—a quiet but meaningful start to the next chapter. He and Madison had planned a cruise vacation to St. Thomas, where they met with a jeweler to design a custom engagement ring and wedding bands together. Before the cruise, they traveled to Florida to meet up with both of their families. One evening, the group headed to a local favorite, Sharky’s on the Pier, for dinner. As the girls browsed a jewelry stand (naturally catching Madison’s attention), Jalen and Madison’s dad slipped away to the beach. Eventually, Madison wandered down to join them—completely unaware of what was about to happen. There, with the waves behind them and their families nearby, Jalen got down on one knee and asked Madison to marry him on May 28, 2025.
