What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony time. If utilizing on-site lodging, please plan your arrival time accordingly to get settled in your cabin prior to the ceremony.

Can I bring a guest?

If we have included a plus-one, your invitation will be made out to “[Your Name] & Guest.”We wish we could invite everyone!

Are kids invited?

If your invitation includes your little ones, your invitation will be made out to “The [Your Last Name] Family.” We wish we could invite everyone! Please keep in mind that there will be an open bar and the reception space will be held next to a lake. We kindly ask parents to keep a close eye on children so everyone can enjoy the celebration safely.

Is the venue outdoors?

Nope! Both our ceremony and reception will be indoors and the locations are within walking distance to one another, so no weather worries.

Where will the celebrations take place?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Rock Eagle 4-H Center.

What should I wear?

We can’t wait to see our loved ones all dressed up for our big day! Please join us in your best cocktail attire. This means a suit, slacks with a dress shirt and jacket, a cocktail dress, a dressy jumpsuit, or a romper is perfect. We kindly ask that guests avoid jeans, and that ladies refrain from wearing white or ivory.

Will there be a bar?

Of course! We will have an open bar serving beer, wine, and champagne available to our guests after the ceremony until the end of the night.

Is there lodging nearby?

Yes! There are a few great options nearby in Madison, Milledgeville, and the surrounding area. You can find recommended lodging under the “Travel” tab.

We’re excited to share that the Rock Eagle 4-H Center also offers on-site lodging within walking distance of both the ceremony and reception. The newly renovated cabins feature six bedrooms and a common area. Inside each room, you’ll find two bunk beds and a private bathroom, with space for up to four guests, all at a rate much more affordable than a typical hotel. Accessible rooms are available within the cabins and will be prioritized as needed. If you’d like to stay on-site, simply let us know when you RSVP, and we’ll follow up with details about the nightly rate and other specifics. Space is limited, but we’ll do our best to fill cabins with people you know. Check out the images below for a glimpse of the layout, cabin exterior, and shared common space.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Your presence is the greatest gift! If you’d like to help us make our home extra special, you’ll find our registry under the “Registry” tab. It’s a mix of new favorites, upgraded essentials, and ways to contribute toward our household and future. Again, we understand that travel is costly and appreciate your support, love, and friendship most of all.
