GENERAL QUESTIONS

DO NOT FORGET TO PACK

Aruba has a ban on Sunscreen with Oxybenzone. Some example that are safe to use are:

- Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50

- Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen Sensitive Skin Sunscreen SPF 30+

- Vacation Sunscreens

- La Roche-Posay Anthelios Tinted Mineral Ultra-Light Fluid Sunscreen SPF 50

- CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50



- Hat

- Rash guard

- Sunscreen. You should reapply every hour, even if there is no sun! It is always windy in Aruba and the wind will deceive you!

- Yeti or similar water bottle, the water is safe to drink. Bring a sponge with dish detergent too!

- Lip Balm with SPF

- Swimwear you will be spending most of your time in a bathing suit and rash-guard

- Coverups,

- Flip flops/Sandals,

- Sturdy Walking Shoes

- Light Sweater or Jacket(casinos and restaurants are cold)

- Hair clips

- Tylenol

- Aloe Gel

Currency & Credit Cards

There is no need to convert your money! Aruba accepts US Currency. Credit Cards are widely accepted throughout the island. Please call your Credit Card Company regarding foreign transaction fees.

Do Taxis and other places accept USD?

USA cash is accepted everywhere. There is no need to convert money.

Taxis or Uber/Lyft?

There are NO UBERS/LYFTS. Do not let anyone convince you otherwise. Taxis have “TX” on their license plate. Someone with “A” on their plate is NOT legally allowed to transfer anyone. Someone with “B” on their license plate means BUS so its public transportation. Someone with “T” on their license plate stands for Tour so they can legally operate for tour purposes.

Do I need a Passport?

Yes - be sure to bring a valid passport with you to Aruba.

Who is Invited?

Due to limited seating arrangements, invitations are limited to specified guests only. We are only able to accommodate guests named on the invitations.

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them due to limited seating.

Do I need Travel Insurance?

Yes Travel Insurance is recommended.

How do I book a Plane Ticket?

You must have a round trip ticket including a valid return or onward ticket. Be sure to bring all necessary documents with you. Upon arrival to Aruba you will be asked to hand in an entry document which will be made available on your flight. (carry a pen!)

Where will the welcome party, ceremony, the reception and the after party be held?

The Welcome Party will be held at the Hyatt at the Events Lawn. The Ceremony and Reception will be held outside the Hyatt on The Beach. The After Party will be held indoors at The Regency Ballroom at the Hyatt.

What should I wear to the wedding?

We are going with a Beach Formal attire! Since our wedding is outside and Aruba averages 82 Degrees at all times, we recommend wearing light weight material that is comfortable. As a reminder ... Aruba sun is very hot even during the sunset, so wear sunscreen at all times!

What should I definitely NOT wear?

Please avoid sneakers, boots and white/cream dresses, or dresses with a white or cream background

Is it Windy?

Yes Aruba can get very windy. Dress accordingly.
