Please look at the pricing sheet. On that list, all the details needed for the size of room and prices are laid out. We recommend looking the resorts website to see the room that would best fit you and your party's needs. Both Grand Caribe (ocean side) and Sunset Caribe (lagoon side) are owned by the same company. With that being said, you can use the amenities at both locations (Ex., pools, restaurants, bars, beach, paddle boards and kayaks). Both are located by each other and a short walk to the Castaway Resort (formerly known as Ak'bol Yoga) for the wedding and reception.
Once you decide the room you would like, please send an email to: reservations@grandcaribebelize.com
In the email include the resort (Grand Caribe or Sunset Caribe), the room type, your check in/out date, and the block code (Castaway2024). The resort is expecting to receive these emails and will help with the next steps of booking the room. Please book your room as soon as possible. Lobster Fest is going on at the same time so availability will become limited.
We have the room block from July 8th to July 15th. If your dates are outside of that window, they will still do their best to accommodate your needs. You do not have to stay from the 8th-15th, those are the block dates we have reserved.

How to get to San Pedro from Belize City Airport
Flight Information Recommendation
You will need to fly into Belize City (BZE). For international flights, the best time to book is six to eight months out. However, there are many factors that can lead to an increase (or decrease) in the price of an airline ticket. We recommend checking flights on google and tracking the prices. We have not bought our tickets yet, but we will start looking more in January.
Once you arrive to Belize City (BZE) you have the option to take a quick flight from BZE to San Pedro or a water taxi. Both options are provided below. The flight to San Pedro is located at the airport. If you take the water taxi you will need to get a taxi from the airport to the dock.
Arriving to San Pedro
If you are not in a rush to get to the island, traveling with a big group or you want to travel on a budget, we recommend taking the water taxi to San Pedro! You get to relax and cruise on the gorgeous turquoise water. If the water taxi is not for you, then a quick trip on one of the island hopper flights works just as well. If you pick the option to fly to San Pedro you can buy the flight before you arrive or you can buy the flight when you arrive to the airport. From past experience we buy our ticket when we arrive just in case our international flight was delayed.
Departing San Pedro
When it is time to head home, we recommend taking a flight back to Belize City. It is quicker and brings you right to the airport. You will want to buy this flight a couple days before you depart. If you talk to the resort staff, they can help you with this. Once you get off the island hopper you will be at the airport so all you will need to do is check your bags and go through security. This way can be more time efficient. If you are not in a rush the water taxi works great as well.
There are two island hopper companies. Both are great and comparable in price! Pick the one that works best with your arrival/departure times.

Village Golf Cart Rental
On the island of San Pedro everyone travels by golf cart! Most golf carts accommodate 4 people. You will need a cart to get around the island. There are no ubers or lyft and very few taxis.
We were able to get a group rate for the wedding weekend. Please send an email to: villagecartsbelize@gmail.com for all rental inquires. In the email, please include the dates you will be arriving and departing and the code: Castawaywedding so they can give you the group rental rate.
