For guests getting to town early, please join us at Old City Beer Garden on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. to enjoy a bite and some drinks as we kick off our wedding weekend! This is a very casual space. Come as you are and stay as long as you'd like. We will have food & soft drinks available, and hard drinks available for purchase.
Fun fact - when Maddie went to Philly for the first time they ended their date at Sto's Bar on Market Street. Sto's has since closed, but they still operate the Old City Beer Garden adjacent to the property.
What should I wear to the wedding?
Our venue is a gorgeous iconic ballroom in the heart of the city, so we would love our guests to dress their best in formal attire (gowns & suits/tuxes).
WILL the wedding BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Our event is entirely indoors, so no need to worry about weather or terrain with your outfit. If you'd like to get some nice outdoor photos, there are several beautiful and historic parks and buildings nearby where the wedding party will also be taking some photos before the ceremony begins.
is there parking at the wedding venue?
Our venue will not have parking or a valet, but there are plenty of paid parking garages within walking distance for our guests to utilize. We recommend the Bourse Garage.
What time should i be there for the ceremony?
Our ceremony will start at 5:30 p.m. Doors to the venue will open at 5 p.m. We ask that all guests arrive early so that our ceremony can start on time.
Is there transportation from the hotels to/from the venue?
No. Both our host hotels are on the same street as the venue, just a few blocks down. If you book one of those hotels or an alternate hotel in Center City or Old City you should be in walking distance of the venue. Guests who opt to stay farther away from downtown should still be within a quick driving of the venue via ride share.
