What is the dress code?

Semi-formal or Dressy Casual 

We'd love to see our family and friends to get dressed up with us! We are requesting that you dress in semi-formal or dressy casual for our big day. Please note that our ceremony is outside (weather permitting), so dress accordingly. Our bridesmaids will be wearing dusty blue (color shown below) so we kindly ask that you avoid that color, along with white, of course.•Not sure what to wear? Let us guide you!Ladies: Please refrain from super short dresses, but a little above the knee or longer are welcome! Colorful and comfortable dresses will help you enjoy the ceremony/reception and let you dance the night away! Please avoid wearing white and any colors close to the dusty blue color shown below. Gentleman: Opt-in for dress pants with a bottom up shirt, with an optional tie or a nice polo. We would prefer no jeans, but we know dressing up isn't for everyone. If you are to wear jeans, please make sure they have no holes in them and that they are a darker wash. There is no such thing as being over-dressed!

ROOM BLOCK IS CLOSED AS OF MAY 14, 2025! We have a room block at the Bismarck Hotel and Conference Center (formerly known as the Ramkota Hotel).

Bismarck Hotel and Conference Center

A shuttle will be available to transport guests from hotel (Bismarck Hotel and Conference Center) to South 40 Events for the ceremony. The buses will run from 2:45 - 3:45 pm, with the Ceremony starting at 4 pm. A shuttle will also be available to transport guests from South 40 Events to the hotel (Bismarck Hotel and Conference Center) at the end of the night. We ask that you please use the shuttle (if needed) to get back to the hotel safely. The Shuttle will go continually from the hotel to South 40 Events from 10 pm - 12:30 am. (Please note that the dance ends at midnight, but the buses will run a bit later to make sure people have a ride)

Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, established in 1907, is the oldest state park in North Dakota and provides a variety of unique adventures to travelers of all ages. Travel through time and explore rich culture and history of the area by investigating artifacts at the Visitor Center Museum. Visitors will gain insight into the lives of the Mandan Native Americans who once lived at On-a-Slant Village by venturing through our reconstructed earthlodges. Discover old Fort Abraham Lincoln, Fort McKeen and what life what like as a frontier soldier as you journey through the blockhouses and furnished barracks and participate in a living history tour of the commanding officer’s quarters.Hikers, bikers and horseback riders will gaze upon the breathtaking views of the Heart and Missouri river bottoms as they traverse the scenic trail system through the surrounding hills. Visitors can stay overnight in a cabin or one of over 100 campsites along the majestic rivers. Anglers can find success along the shorelines of both the Missouri and Heart Rivers.

Tilt Studio Kirkwood

Sertoma Park is a park in Bismarck, North Dakota. Sertoma is on a three-mile stretch of riverside plain on the Missouri River. The Lewis and Clark Riverboat docks at the park when it is not giving tours of the river where Lewis and Clark once were over 200 years ago.&nbsp;
