Are wedding and reception in the same place?
No, Ceremony is at St. Joseph Church in Granville Iowa. Reception is about 20 min away, at the Avalon in Remsen, Iowa.
How far away is the hotel from the Church?
The church is about 30 min or so from the hotel, and about 20 min away from the reception.
Is there a dress code?
No formal dress code, the desire is casual/semi-formal
Is there any other events happening that night?
YES! After the reception there is a street dance you can go to in Remsen that is just half a block away, on main street!
Will there be an open bar?
There will be an open bar until the meal arrives and then it will be cash bar.
Do I need to choose my meal ahead of time?
Nope! We will be having a buffet style meal instead of a formal meal. We will be having broasted porkchops and another meat.
Will there be a shuttle service?
There will be a shuttle service (Madi's nephew lol) driving people from the reception (the Avalon), to the hotel in Lemars.
