As many of you know, Madison is from Concord, Virginia and TJ is from Spartanburg, South Carolina which is approximately 270 miles apart. Individually, Madison and TJ at 18 years old made the decision to move away from their hometowns for college in North Carolina, and that is exactly where their love story began. Madison attended East Carolina University while TJ attended Methodist University which was approximately an hour apart, but distance couldn't keep them apart.

Neither Madison or TJ were searching for their significant other as college freshmen, but in October 2019, they met for the first time and had a very strong connection. They became best friends, communicating through text and FaceTime daily, in which they created an inseparable bond. After a few months of strong friendship, they both realized their friendship was becoming more when TJ told Madison he loved her!! On January 17th, 2020 TJ asked Madison to be his girlfriend and of course she said YES (one of many yes's)! For the next few months, Madison and TJ saw each other on the weekends since they went to school about an hour away from each other until Spring Break when everything drastically changed, A GLOBAL PANDEMIC (aka Covid-19) which forced both Madison and TJ to return to their home states, nearly 5 hours apart.

Madison and TJ spent 3 months apart, our phones were our only way of communication during this unprecedented time until TJ made the decision to visit Madison in which he took an Amtrak train to see her! TJ rode the train all the way from South Carolina to Virginia wearing a mask and medical gloves (there's pictures). After nearly two years of being long distance, TJ made the decision to move to Virginia to be with Madison in August 2022 where they moved into their first apartment together.

After living together a few years, TJ made the decision to propose to Madison on November 18th, 2023 at Morris Orchard in Moneta, Virginia surrounded by Sherri, Robbie, Elisha, Trinity, and Jasmin and a few farm animals (HAHAHA) where we all laughed, cried, and celebrated this next chapter in our lives. Fun fact: when TJ proposed to Madison she didn't say "yes" she said "OF COURSE"!!

Fast forward to 2025, its WEDDING YEAR!! Madison and TJ will make it officially official on November 1, 2025 surrounded by the most important people in their lives, family and friends. Another fun fact, our wedding date is extremely significant to our relationship, in the beginning Madison and TJ began to see the number 11 and 44 constantly (on clocks, license plates, dreams, EVERYWHERE!!), and the number 11 signifies positive opportunities and deep soul connection between two individuals, while the number 44 signifies. We are extremely excited for this next chapter in our lives and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
