We have known each other for many years thanks to our mutual friends, Lindsey Hudson and Sophie Cunningham. We both grew up in Missouri and met when Brett was playing baseball at Mizzou in Columbia, Maddie's hometown. We became close friends after nights out, game days in Columbia, and weekends at the Lake of the Ozark's.

Brett attended the University of Missouri and joined the coaching staff for Mizzou Baseball shortly after. Maddie attended the University of Arkansas and returned back to Columbia for graduate school at the University of Missouri.

We started dating several years after meeting, finding ourselves settled back in the same city in 2020. We both love quality time with our family, our friends we consider to be family, and our dog, Luka. We gravitate towards time spent outside, attending concerts and sporting events (typically baseball).

We pray and look forward to our future together as husband and wife, buying our first home and creating the family we have always dreamed of. Thank you to everyone who has loved and supported us to this point. You have helped shape us into the couple we are today. We can't wait to celebrate with you in October!!
