Q + A

What Should I Expect?

Nothing. Literally nothing.

Can I bring my kids?

While we appreciate your little ones, we kindly request a child (anyone under 10 years old) free wedding so you can take the night off! We understand child care is expensive so no hesitation if you can’t join us and want to spend time with your kiddos. We appreciate your cooperation!

What should I wear?

The country club has a semi-formal/business casual dress code, so anything you would wear to a job interview will do just fine; or an ugly holiday sweater (there will be a contest). Please do not worry if you are wearing red, green or gold out of fear that you are "matching with the bridesmaids". This is a Christmas wedding, so we encourage Christmas colours. You are also welcome to wear blue if you celebrate Hanukkah!

Is it a dry wedding?

The bar is open and soft drinks are available. Please note that any drunken shenanigans will be recorded and laughed at for many years to come. Please drink responsibly.

Can I have my phone during the wedding?

You can have your phone on your person but please, turn it off or put it on silent during the ceremony.

Is this wedding inclusive?

This wedding is a safe space for our guests. Please be respectful of others at this wedding regardless of political/religious beliefs, pronouns, etc.

What type of sleeping accommodations are in the area?

There’s hotels and stuff in the township of Upper St. Clair and beyond. Please note we did not block off any rooms at any hotel. For travel information, see the travel information tab.

When do I have to RSVP by?

We need a final headcount by Thanksgiving Day. Please RSVP by November 26th at 11:59pm.

When are you having kids?

What are you talking about? Our son is right here:

Hi, I have sensory issues and don’t like loud weddings. Is there a place where I can go?

Of course! Italians and chaotic extroverts can be a lot, trust me. You can find yourself in the Introvert/Quiet Room (along with my husband) with sensory items, fidget toys, blankets. Enjoy yourself. Spend as much time as you need. Please note: bring your own headphones, chargers, gaming devices, etc.
