Every great love story starts somewhere, and ours began with a decision I never thought I'd make.

One day, out of pure boredom, I did the one thing I swore I'd never do—I created a profile on a dating app called Stir. I made a deal with myself: I'd give it one month. If I didn't meet someone by then, I'd delete the app and happily return to my single life.

Well, on the very day I was ready to hit "delete," I got one last match.

By then, I'd already met my fair share of the weirdos and the crazies, so I figured if this one didn't work out, it was back to square one. But when I opened his profile, there he was—a handsome man from Baltimore with a great beard. As I flipped through his photos, each one told a story filled with laughter, adventure, and just the right amount of mischief. I was intrigued.

We started texting and before long, we planned our first date.

We built a relationship filled with laughter, trust, and unwavering support.

It didn't take long for us to realize what we had was different.

We had found exactly what we'd both been praying for.

In each other, we found peace. We found adventure. We found someone who made life brighter. Most importantly, we found a God-centered love that continues to strengthen us every day.

What started as one last swipe became the beginning of our forever.
