If you've come to this page looking for a little highlight on yourself, you would be spot on! We consider you all the most important people in our lives. We are truly so blessed to have anyone willing to celebrate on behalf of us and have been humbled by all of the well wishes.
That said, we are using this page to highlight our wedding party and key family members!
Molly, older cousin of the bride, is the girl you call when you're having a bad day and need a pick me up, want to laugh till you cry, want to justify a little treat for the day or just need advice on if this top from Target is really worth the money. She loves her people BIG. She has always brought our family together through making every event an experience and her intentional check-ins with each of us. She's always been the perfect role model and big sister for Mags.
Hayes and Ted have been best friends since the Davidsons moved next door to the Dixons back in 2001. Hayes has always looked up to Ted. Think older brother but better! They share countless memories and it has always been Hayes' intention to make Ted his best man when the time came.
Jen, sister-in-law of the bride, is one of the most genuine and thoughtful people you will ever encounter. She'll send you snacks when you've had a hard week, get you THE most thoughtful gift when you have something to celebrate, what about a handwritten card just to remind you that she's your Galentine? Yup, that too! She is everything to so many people and it is an honor to be one of the many recipients of her unwavering love dished out. If you don't have a Jen in your life, go get you one. We are better people for it.
Murphy, the bride's brother, is one of a kind. A constant source of support for our family and an endless source of laughs. He's accepted Hayes with open arms hosting endless get-togethers for our family and even exposing Hayes to his first meal of Indian food. You can catch him capturing photos of the Minneapolis Parks, flying his drone, snuggling with his newborn Laurel, or obsessing over his one million plants and bird feeders. He won't be behind the camera on the big day but instead, standing right beside the bride and groom.
Riley, the bride's eldest brother, is one of the funniest individuals you will ever cross paths with. Quick witted doesn't even do him justice. You would assume being 7 years older than Maggie that naturally their relationship wouldn't be as close as it is but it could not be farther from the truth....and while he has always known what buttons to push of Maggie's to stir up a fuss, he remains a constant source of love, kindness, and humor. He loves Hayes as his own brother and it will be beyond special having him as a groomsman on this major milestone event.
Rosie, cousin of the bride, is a girl you want on your side. Not just for the Byrne family minute to win it challenges on Xmas (ask her about the epic finish on the stairs at Grandma and Grandpa's) but also in all things friendship. She is fiercely loyal and wants only the best for those closest to her. Being just a month apart in age, Maggie and Rosie have gotten to experience lots of life together and this next milestone is no different. Meet her on the dancefloor on the big day, she'll be bringing the heat.
Ryan and Hayes lived together in college at USC and for a few years after college in Charlotte. Hayes considers Ryan one of his closest friends as they have spent the majority of their 20s together both as roommates and friends sharing lots of life. From football games, food-filled Sunday's, concerts, weekend trips, and more, Ryan can always be relied on to bring the energy. Ryan holds a special place in Maggie and Hayes' relationship as he was there cheering them on the first few months of their dating. It’s an honor for both Hayes and Maggie to have Ryan as one of the groomsmen on this special day. You can find him on the wedding day tearing up the dance floor and starting Sandstorm.
Liz, or "Lizzie" to the Byrne gang is another of Maggie's cousins. Wise beyond her years you would be surprised to find out she's actually the youngest of the 11 Byrne grandchildren. When you need a hand, her advice is unmatched. When you need an ear, she'll listen. She truly rises to every occasion. She's also a lover of all things music, dance, art and fashion. You can spot her on the wedding day rocking a pink gown.
Hayes and Kyle have been friends since the wee age of 6 years old. Whether it was in high school, or over the summers in college, Hayes and Kyle have had many great memories over the years. Hayes is thrilled to be able to have a lifelong friend like Kyle by his side on his wedding day.
Allie and Maggie met in the 4th grade at Concord Elementary. Having just moved to Minnesota from California, Maggie spent that year forcing Allie into proving her friendship through sharing facts about Cali and her candy. Say what you want about the tactics but they are still close friends almost 20 years later. The phrase "ride or die" is thrown around often but Allie truly embodies this. She's ALWAYS shown up in their friendship and the wedding season is no different. Find her on the wedding day being the biggest cheerleader of all.
Mike and Hayes met Freshman year of college as they were in the same pledge class together. On top of all of the great times at USC, Mike and Hayes also lived together for a few years after college in Charlotte. It’s an honor for Hayes to have Mike by his side as he marries Maggie.
Kelly, older cousin of the bride, has the biggest heart of anyone you will ever meet. A bold statement but those who have her in their circle would proudly say the same. A true role model to Maggie, she's modeled what loving our family looks like through many different seasons. Ask her about her many travels throughout Europe while living in Scotland. Speaking of, if you see a man in a kilt at the wedding, it's most likely her husband.
Andrew and Hayes started playing sports together at Murphy Candler park as early as the age of 9. Even after the district tournament baseball teams and chaotic pee wee football teams, Hayes and Andrew continued to be best friends through high school and college. It’s an honor for Hayes to have Andrew by his side on the day of his wedding.
Living just 1 block apart growing up, it's surprising these two made it until the 1st grade to become friends. Then quickly went from friends to inseparable...inseparable to the point going to separate schools was just not going to cut it. Julia transferred to Edina in the 3rd grade and just like that, what used to be two separate duos (Regan and Maggie; Julia and Maggie) became a trio. The three have been best friends ever since. Julia is always the life of the party and her laugh is textbook contagious. If you're looking for her at the wedding, she's probably mingling with the parents with a local brew in hand. Julia and Maggie are as close to soul sisters as you can get so this wedding day is pretty surreal. They would greatly appreciate you having a tissue or two ready for them at all times throughout this wedding weekend.
Regan and Maggie met on the very first day of kindergarten at Golden Years Montessori. They became fast friends despite Maggie's tragic bowl haircut (thanks mom) and have been friends ever since. If you know Maggie then you know Regan...1. because Regan and Maggie ended up going to college a few hours apart and 2. because Maggie takes really any opportunity to brag on Regan's endless cool adventures and relive their many memories together. Be warned that when you get these two together after they haven't seen each other for a while, the conversations start moving double time. She's the friend everyone wants to have and it's truly an honor to have her stand up besides the rest of these life long besties while Maggie and Hayes say "i do".
Hayes and Jonathan met as kids at Murphy Candler. For those not native to Dunwoody, Murphy Candler is a park where all things baseball take place in town. Jonathan and Hayes were on the same baseball team every spring and summer from seventh grade until the end of high school. Despite all the tough mound visits over the years, Hayes considers Jonathan one of his best and most reliable friends and he’s thrilled to have him as one of his groomsmen.
Jenna and Maggie have their 6th grade homeroom class to thank for the beginnings of this friendship. What started as trading stickers for their agendas quickly escalated to sleepovers, cabin trips and now almost 20 years of shared memories. She's not just a loving friend, she's also the silliest person with endless stories to back that up. Ask her about her menagerie of pets including dogs, rescued kittens, ducklings and a half dozen hampsters. You can always count on Jen to answer your call and talk you through any situation. This wedding season has been no different and Maggie is so grateful to have had such a rock when not only planning the wedding but planning her 30 person bachelorette trip.
Talley, Hayes’ younger sister, is one of kind. Such a thoughtful and hilarious human. While most brothers and sisters do their fair share of arguing, Talley and Hayes have always gotten along incredibly well. People have often mistaken them for twins because of their similar mannerisms and habits. If you're looking for something to chat with Talley about she would love nothing more than to hear about your local coffee spot, know your enneagram type or expose your on her private story. She is truly one of a kind and Maggie so excited and lucky to gain the sister she’s always dreamed of having.
The shift from elementary school to middle school brought lots of changes, the most notable being an expanded circle of friends. Grace and Maggie became friends in 6th grade however it was really their love of Justin Bieber that took their friendship to the next level come 8th grade. Everyone needs a Graciegirl in their life; such an effortlessly funny person who loves living life and wants to bring you along for the ride. You can find Gracie running a spontaneous 1/2 marathon, out enjoying MN's natural beauty, or hosting a bonfire in her cozy backyard with a kicka$$ playlist.
