Franklin is where Maggie grew up and is full of things to do! There's a rich history of the Civil War in and around downtown Franklin, with plenty of cool monuments and homes to tour. Our favorites include those displayed in the square and Carton Plantation and the surrounding walking trail around the battlefield. Franklin has so many great places to shop around and explore, with great food options mixed in!

Restaurant recommendations include Meridee's Breadbasket, Franklin Mercantile, or the Coffee House for breakfast, and Culaccino, Red Pony, 55 South, Puckett's, and Gray's on Main for dinner. Bar recommendations from us in Franklin include Amendment 18 Cocktail Club, JJ's Wine Bar, Stable Reserve (our favorite!), and the bar in the Harpeth Hotel.

Obviously, there is an abundance of things to do in Nashville! Bash lived in Germantown, and this area is home to several of our favorite restaurants. We love Pelato, 5th and Taylor, Germantown Cafe, and Little Hats Italian Market.

Our other favorites include Midnight Oil (our first date spot!), Nicky's Coal Fired, Superica, SATCO, Bringles Smoking Oasis (texas bbq), and Eldey's barbecue.

For breakfast and coffee, we recommend Benji's Bagels, Star Bagel, Pancake Pantry, the Perch, and Ladybird Taco.
