Can I bring my kid?
While we love your little ones, all events over the weekend are adults only. We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.
Where should we stay?
Please refer to the travel page of our website for hotel and neighborhood recommendations. If you have specific questions, please reach out to us directly.
Can I drive to the venue?
There are several paid parking lots around District Winery. We would encourage the use of Uber/Lyft and the Metro. We highly recommend that you pre-book your Uber/Lyft to minimize any delays.
Can I bring a date?
All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. If your invitation is addressed to "[Your Name] & Guest," you are welcome to bring a date. Otherwise, we kindly ask you to attend unaccompanied.
What time does the party start?
Please arrive at District Winery no later than 5:30 PM on September 14th. Please allow extra time for travel as there is a National's baseball game that begins at 4 PM on the day of our party.
Can I take pictures and videos?
We ask that all guests are fully unplugged during our vow renewal ceremony. We hired professional photographers to capture this special moment and want everyone to be fully present as we say "I still do." Please don't ruin our professional pictures by holding up your phone! We promise to share all pictures.
WTF is cocktail attire?
No one really knows what this means, so here's a little guide of what we're envisioning:
Friday night (Welcome Event)
Men: Shirt & Chinos, or an open suit is completely fine. Ties optional.
Women: A dress, nice pants, or a cute jumpsuit all work well.
Saturday night (Celebration)
Men: Suits preferred, ties optional. No tuxedos necessary.
Women: A nice dress or fancy jumpsuit
Basically, whatever you would normally wear to a wedding.
Will the wedding actually happen this time?
Don't worry. We'll give up if it doesn't.
