Q + A

Can I bring guests/ +1's not noted on my invitation?

We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to celebrate our special day with. If you received a +1, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself and your guest(s). Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Are children welcome to attend the wedding?

While we would love to have attendees of all ages be there for our wedding, we respectfully request no children under 13 years old at the celebration.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Please visit the 'Hotel Blocks' tab of our site

What should I do if I can’t make it?

If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

The ceremony and reception will both take place at the Dekalb History Center.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will be indoors.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

No, but if you are staying at one of our hotel blocks, the venue is walking distance from the hotel.

What about COVID?

We are doing everything we can to ensure our wedding is safe and enjoyable for everyone. We highly recommend that our guests get tested for COVID-19 before our wedding and urge you to stay home if you are feeling unwell.

What if I don't RSVP?

If you do not RSVP, we will assume you are not attending and will remove you from the guest list days before the wedding.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie.
