Our intro may have been a shy exchange of hellos, as MaK had thought she was moving to Arizona the day after. Instead, a great conversation on prayer, some sweet dance moves on Michael's part, and then MaK gesturing to kiss Michael.. so began our love story, 2 CA folks who were often unknowingly in the same place at the same time, but God had His perfect timing for our love!

Our first time seeing and exploring a field of Blue Bonnets! This was also our first family photo.

While house-sitting, we lovingly had a stay-at-home date night and it was so special and endearing.

M&M took on our first road trip to California and little did we know, this drive would be made more than once. Michael drove MaK through the Grand Canyon and we lived in the moment. We would soon embark on 9 months of long-distance dating... and we went the distance!

We traveled to Colorado to look into a job offer for MaK and it was so special to know that Michael would move to Colorado to continue pursuing our relationship, had it come to that being the best for us as a couple... which it was not.

Michael's first birthday together entailed a beautiful beach picnic and a professional photoshoot. We had the best day celebrating together.

We traveled internationally for the first time together amid 9 months of distance. This was such a trying yet rewarding time when we ultimately came out of this time as a strong, Christ-centered couple.

This was a turning point in our relationship. Michael brought MaK home to Texas and we never looked back!

We have had the opportunity to travel to Nashville twice together and boy do I love road trips with this man.
