Yes. Makenna and Josh wish to create a romantic and whimsical vibe for their wedding day. Think vintage garden themes. We would suggest to have fun and join in on the theme! Garden party attire is encouraged (definition is on our home page), but please wear what you are comfortable with.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Both the ceremony and reception are taking place in the same complex at Venue One Eleven. You will not need leave the building after the ceremony to drive to the reception. The party starts right away!

We hope to have our ceremony outside but due to living in Michigan, we have an alternative location inside our same building. The main reception will be indoors with an option to enjoy the outdoor garden area for a breath of fresh air.

YES! There will be an open bar, complimentary of the bride and groom. But please bring cash to tip the bartender!
