Due to having our wedding at a Military Base, there are certain restrictions you should know about. All guests names and photo copies of their drivers licence must be given to the base by August 1st, therefore we will need our RSVPs by this date. We will need to know the exact name that is printed on your drivers license for both members of your party. If you were given a "plus one" or "guest", we need to know who you will be bringing by this date. If you are not currently in a long term relationship and unsure of who you plan on bringing, please reply for yourself only.

The base does not allow Cabs, Ubers or Lyfts to enter the base. The venue is close to a mile from the main gate security checkpoint, so if you Uber to the Base, you then have to walk a mile to the venue. This is highly discouraged as the road is not well lit and narrow. Therefore, we are providing a shuttle bus to and from the Kona Kai Resort on Shelter Island. The first shuttle leaves Kona Kai Resort at 1630pm. The last shuttle leaves the venue at 2230pm. Please see the Transportation section for more information.

There is absolutely no outside alcohol allowed at all! This includes flasks. The staff are very strict about this and will confiscate any outside alcohol and you will be removed from the base immediately. Firearms and illegal drugs go without saying. Guests with a warrant against them will not be permitted on the base.
