Civil Marriage


On April 28th, 2024, Malia and Hyrum will be married by Hyrum's dad, Doug Eacho. The traditional hand-fasting ceremony pays tribute to his genealogy. The Maile's will be performing a Hula Dance before the marriage, paying tribute to her genealogy. There will be no reception following the brief service. Due to the intimate nature of the ceremony, you will receive a direct text message requesting your RSVP. If you do not receive a text, please know it is not a message of any kind. Due to the last minute nature of the invitation, and brief length of the ceremony, if you received a text and are unable to attend, please know we will not have any hurt feelings.


Temple Sealing


On April 30th, 2024, Malia and Hyrum will be sealed in the Moses Lake, Washington Temple. Those who are sealed in the temple have the assurance that their relationship will continue forever, if they are true to their covenants. Hyrum and Malia will make promises between each other and God, ensuring their marriage is centered on Him and His Son, Jesus Christ. Due to the intimate nature of this ceremony, and limited space, individual invitations will be sent via text.

Please know that not receiving an invitation is not a message of any kind. Both of the ceremonies are intentionally small and non-traditional. Our special day is made special because of your influence on our individual and collective lives. If you choose not to come due to the last-minute nature of our invitation, please know we will miss you, but should no one attend, we will have just as special a wedding. We love you!
