Our Story

On the menu 3:30pm Cocktail Hour- Assorted cocktail patties (vegetarian &amp; chicken)- Vegetarian spring rolls &amp; samosas - Crudities with salsa &amp; humus- Mini roast lamb kebabs - Salt fish fritters drizzled with sweet chili 5:30pm Dinner- Fillet red snapper escovitch, with julienne of peppers, carrots, and onion- Jamaican chicken in red wine sauce, with fresh mango- Chickpea &amp; plantain curry Served with:- White rice, cooked in vegetable stock with sprigs of thyme and bay leaves- Rice &amp; peas with kidney beans - Green salad - Coleslaw, sweetened with gala apples Dessert- Wedding cake- Tropical fruit salad- Rum cake- Chocolate truffle torte

The 2 following hotel recommendations are for those who prioritize affordability and being close to the wedding venue. (1) Premier Inn London Putney Bridge- Approximately $105/night- Hotel is a 10min Uber or 20min bus to Wedding Venue- Other benefits: river views, close to the local high street for convenience shopping &amp; a 3min walk to the train station for traveling to Central (tourist area) (2) Premier Inn London Wimbledon Broadway- Approximately $81/night- Hotel is a 15min Uber or 40min bus to Wedding Venue- Other benefits: on a local high street for convenience shopping &amp; an 8min walk to the train station for traveling to Central (tourist area) Please Note: There are other boutique, B&amp;B style hotels close to the venue. The 2 listed above are your closest, most affordable standard/franchise hotels Khaleah’s advice: The wedding is a single day in what might be a multi‑day trip, so optimizing your hotel choice around sightseeing—not proximity to the venue—might give you a better overall experience. The trade off is potentially finding a cheaper hotel, closer to more items on your itinerary, but a longer commute and slightly pricier ride on the Wedding Day. Just to give examples: (1) Edbury House Hotel is a boutique at $68/night. Located in Central London it's just a 15min walk to Buckingham Palace, and sits in the midst of tourist hotspots: Hyde Park, Knightsbridge and Westminster. But for the wedding day travel looks like a 30min Uber or a 1hr public transit journey involving 1 bus and 1 train. (2) Berkley Aparthotel (which is on the completely other side of ‘inner’ London) is $124/night and sits is in the midst of Shoreditch’s young nightlife, hipster vibes and is a stone’s throw away from Central. But the wedding day will be a 1hr Uber for approx $50* each way *Omg Uber is so much cheaper in London than NY Overall: (1) If you have a big budget don’t listen to my recommendations, get yourself a luxury London eye view hotel in Central or something just as nice (2) Depending on your vibe, budget and how long you stay, certain neighborhoods may be better for you even though they may be further from the Wedding Venue If you’re still not sure… We’ll be more than happy to give our thoughts on any hotels/neighborhoods you pick before you purchase.

Hello everyone! We feel incredibly lucky to have friends and family traveling from all over the world to celebrate with us. For many of you, this might be your first time in London, so we wanted to share a few ideas to help you make the most of your visit. I personally dislike long, scattered recommendation lists. They make it hard to know what’s near what, or how to combine things without zig‑zagging across the city. So instead, I’ve put together three sample “day plans” that group nearby sights together. Think of them as a starting point rather than a checklist. Add things, skip things, wander off the path. Central London is a MUST-SEE. I didn’t even know where to start for a sample day. Truly, it depends on your interests. Here’s our favorite places:- Shopping - Oxford St ❤️, Regent St, Piccadilly Circus, SOHO- Bars &amp; Restaurants - <a href="https://www.coventgarden.london/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Covent Garden</a> ❤️- Museums:- The best Museum is the <a href="https://www.britishmuseum.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">British Museum</a> (near SOHO) ❤️- But for many options in one place go to South Kensington. All within walking distance you have: the <a href="https://www.nhm.ac.uk/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Natural History Museum</a>, the <a href="https://www.vam.ac.uk/?srsltid=AfmBOoqCL20w5olDrza7dGxvVMPC8RfgDUV5ISTlL_tJq9LxQkeJarx-" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">V&amp;A</a>, the <a href="https://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/home" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Science Museum</a> Other suggestions, not considered “Central”:- Shoreditch - young nightlife and thrifting- Stratford - <a href="https://www.westfield.com/en/united-kingdom/stratfordcity" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Westfield mall</a> (best place for shopping❤️) and the <a href="https://www.queenelizabetholympicpark.co.uk/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Olympic Park</a>- A soccer game
