The reception will be held at the same location, following the ceremony. The wedding party will be briefly absent to take advantage of the beautiful scenery for photographs. Please enjoy the various games and activities and food until they return.

The reception will officially end around 8, but please do not feel obligated to stay through the entire night especially if you have young children or a long drive home.

The entrance to Highbanks Park is on the eastern side of the park off of State Route 23, no matter what your GPS says. (We had to pull out an old fashioned paper map to find the entrance the first time we visited). To avoid sharing that confusion with you, here are some directions:

To get to the park from the east side: either take 23 N to Highbanks Park or take 270 W to 23 N, the park will be on your left.

To get to the park from the west side: either take 315 N to 270 E to 23 N, the park will be on your left or skip 315 and head straight for 270 E to 23 N, the park will be on your left.

To get to the park if you hate 270: take 315 N to 750 E to 23 S, the park will be on your right.

To get to the shelter: just follow the main road until you see a sign for the Mansion Shelter on your right, turn right as the sign instructs and continue straight to the parking lot. Please remember this is a park with lots of people hiking and playing throughout it and respect the posted speed limits.
