It all began with 100+ Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus members in drag for a concert/game show. Dustin was the Lighting Designer and Mallory was Stage Manager for the 2019 Pride Concert. We quickly hit it off and by the time we finished our second show together that winter, a friendship was blossoming. We eventually realized there was something really special between us that was worth exploring. Since then, we’ve had several life changes and adventures, including moving into our home in 2022 with Dustin's sons Gideon (12) and Jeremiah (10) and learning how to be a blended family unit.

We’re excited to finally say “I do!”

We went out to dinner at Aster Cafe on March 8th, 2023 for our 3rd anniversary. Over dinner, Dustin gave Mallory an anniversary card with a second card inside from the boys.

“As Dad’s wingman, I hope you say yes -Jeremiah”

Mallory looked up from the card to find Dustin holding a ring, and he asked her to marry him.
