June 29-30 is Twin Cities Pride weekend! We promise we didn’t realize this when we picked the date…but we hope our LGBTQ+ loved ones will still get a chance to celebrate! Minnesota is known as the “Land of 10,000 Lakes,” and we invite you to explore them! In the Uptown area, you can kayak or paddle board though 3 connected lakes (Bde Maka Ska, Lake of the Isles, and Cedar Lake) - Rentals are available at Bde Maka Ska.

Nearby, explore Lake Harriet’s bandshell, bird sanctuary, rose garden, peace garden, and playground.
