We first met while working together at the Jim Roche Ice Arena in West Roxbury during high school. But it seems that there were many invisible strings between the two of us throughout our lives. From attending daycare just doors away from each other on Dent Street in West Roxbury, having our older sisters play Parkway Softball together, and even both of us volunteering for SCORE Boston at the same time, it seemed like it was only a matter of time before our paths finally intertwined. Following our days at the rink, Mallory went off to UMass Amherst, while Matt stayed in Boston and pursued a degree in Diesel Mechanics. After graduation, we found our way back to each other and the rest was history.


Mallory then attended nursing school at Northeastern University, while Matt started his journey to becoming a Boston Police Officer. Following both of our graduations, the pandemic hit and we both needed an escape. Being one of the only things that was safe to do at this time, we would frequently go skiing and snowboarding around New England. During these escapes, we quickly fell in love with Sunday River and it became our happy place.


In December of 2022, Matt proposed to Mallory at the top of the Chondola lift, where they skied to the bottom to find all of their family and friends. It seemed only fitting that the place where we truly were our happiest, would be where we decided to get married.


We can not wait to share our happy place with all of you and for you all to experience the natural beauty that is Sunday River and the Newry area!
