Q + A

Where is the ceremony? Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?

Our ceremonial mass will be held at Our Lady of the Snows church located at 265 Walkers Mills Road in Bethel, ME 04217. The church is located about 10 minutes down the road from the Grand Summit Hotel. There is not transportation that will be provided to guests attending the mass, but there is more than enough parking spaces available at the church and it is handicap accessible.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail to semi-formal attire. We truly want everyone to be comfortable in what they are wearing and wear whatever will get them onto the dancefloor! Cocktail hour will be taking place in an area with some grass, so ladies who may be wearing heels may want to avoid any heels that may make walking difficult in this area!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

To allow all of our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our wedding a child-free night.

Where should I stay?

Under the "Travel" tab on this website, there is the direct link to our room block at the Grand Summit Hotel. We strongly recommend staying here, as this is where our cocktail hour and reception are going to be taking place. By following the link on the website, you are able to book directly into our room block and to take advantage of the discount provided through the link. In your stay at Grand Summit, there is a delicious and complimentary sit-down breakfast served in Camp, their restaurant on site. If you are choosing to stay in the Jordan Hotel or any AirBnb nearby, please just be cautious that transportation should be arranged ahead of time following our reception, as Uber is not readily available in this area during this time of year.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

If a plus one has been given to you, it will be indicated on your invitation that you will receive in the mail. As much as we would like to invite everyone, we are limited in the number of people that we can have at our ceremony space.

I have a dietary restriction/allergy, how do I ensure that I receive the appropriate meal?

When you receive your invitation, there will be two options for RSVPing and selecting your meal. Guests can either RSVP by returning their RSVP card through the mail or by choosing the RSVP tab on this website. In both of these methods, there is a place to explain any dietary restrictions or allergies that guests may have. If for any reason, you forget to include this when you RSVP, please reach out to either Mallory or Matt and let them know.
