Our Wedding

We met in a pretty random and unconventional way! Jonathan joined a group chat that I (Mandi) had been in previously, off and on for several years. At the time he joined, I wasn't a member of the chat. By chance, on my birthday, our friend Carl who helped moderate the group decided to add me back in so everyone could wish me a happy birthday! I noticed Jonathan immediately and acted a bit sassy to get his attention. It worked though, because we started messaging that day and never stopped. We would text all throughout the day, and then started sending voice notes, and then within about a week or two we were on Discord daily having voice calls and playing video games together or watching shows and movies together. After six months of a strictly long distance relationship and navigating him living in England and me in Florida, and a five hour time difference, he flew to come visit me. It's worth mentioning that he booked the time off work 157 days prior to coming out here (which was like three or four weeks after we first met) so needless to say, we were very serious about each other very quickly. We knew immediately there was something special about what we had, and confirmed it about two weeks in by actually saying "I love you". When Jonathan was here visiting he asked me to marry him and gave me the most beautiful ring. Of course I said yes! We'd had such a perfect two week visit and he and my kids got to spend some quality time together too!Our love is not traditional, our story is anything but normal, but it's perfect for us. Our love is stronger than any distance or time difference. Once we're married, we will be starting the process of bringing Jonathan here permanently. It's a very lengthy and expensive process, but it's worth it and we both have no doubts we'll make it happen. We are perfect for each other and we complete one another in ways we never knew could be possible. We can't wait to get married and share that day with the people we love most. Fun fact, we're getting married on our "official" one year anniversary!

We'd love for you to come dressed in black if you can, as it's the main color of the day and everyone looks great in black! Feel free to wear whatever you'd like though, no specific color is necessary. We just ask that you don't come in pajamas :)
