Yes, right smack dab between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. We also have a birthday to celebrate as Finn turns 15 on Monday, April 21st. We wanted it to be a good weather weekend and not too hot.

IF you are wanting to make a vacation out of this trip, and you have the time, the following week and weekend is prime time to be in Lafayette. From Wednesday, April 23rd through Sunday, April 27th is our beloved Festival International de Louisiane. It's the largest free international music festival in the world! Taking place downtown Lafayette, it brings musicians from all over the world to play live music on multiple stages throughout the half week. Also featured, the FOOD! Tons of booths and restaurants serving every kind of cuisine you can think of, including a couple of must-try options like the crawfish fettuccine bread bowl and tornado potatoes. If you plan to stay through Festival with us, please let us know so we can keep you in "the know!"

Jazzfest in New Orleans takes place Thursday, April 24th - Sunday, April 27th and Thursday, May 1st - Sunday, May 4th.
