Breweries

Land Grant

One of our favorite spots to go to! Has outside seating with heaters/fire pits and igloos if you book in advance for one! Also has indoor seating and a great beer selection that is always changing! Usually weekends, they have Ray Ray's BBQ & Mikey's Late night Slice to eat ...which both are delicious! But feel free to bring your own food as well!

Address: 424 W Town St, Columbus, OH 43215

Antiques on High (AOH)

If you like more fancy and different cocktails, this is place to go to! Garrett's favorite place to take people to! They have some local brews from Seventh Son as well. They have a sweet greenery space upstairs with seating. They typically will have a food truck as well.

Address: 714 S High St, Columbus, OH 43206

Dining

Marcella's

Marcella's is a lively spot downtown in the Short North Arts District. You will find the best Italian food and wine selections. We frequent here on Mandy's Birthday or around our dating anniversary. Get the Braised Veal Meatball, (aka The Eighth Wonder of the World)

Address: 615 N High St, Columbus, OH 43215

Katalina's

Go here for breakfast or brunch. Nutella stuffed pancake balls, fried pork and egg sandwiches, breakfast tacos... it is all FIRE.

The OG location is a little cozy so ordering to-go should be considered depending on what time you are going.

Address: 1105 Pennsylvania Ave, Columbus, OH 43201

*If you do want dine-in, take a drive a few miles up High st to Katalina's, Too!

Address: 3481 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214

Lincoln Social Rooftop

Amazing rooftop views. Amazing food and drinks. The real secret is the Happy hour, though. This may be our favorite HH in the city. Oh, and yes, of course, it is great for instagram and photo optics

Happy Hour:

Tuesday - Friday 4 - 6PM

Sunday 1 - 4 PM

Address: 711 N High St, Columbus, OH 43215

Budd Dairy Food Hall

A big food hall/eatery, good spot if you cannot decide what you want to eat and want your eyes to guide you, or if you're with a picky group of eaters. There are 10 total kitchen options, a couple full service bars, and the site is three stories so plenty of seating

Address: 1086 N 4th St, Columbus, OH 43201

Places of Interest

Franklin Park Conservatory

You may need tickets in advance, but check out the Conservatory Aglow which runs from 5pm-9pm! It is an indoor-to-outdoor Conservatory with themed light displays, and you can catch live entertainment as well cocktails, beer, and wine at certain hours

Address: 1777 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43203

Pins Mechanical Co

This is a good one to check out with a group of people for games. There is Duckpin bowling, foosball, ping-pong, and pinball machines... Or head down the street to 16-bit bar and arcade if you want more of a dive scene with classic arcade games

Address: 141 N 4th St, Columbus, OH 43215

The Red Stable German Village Souvenirs & Gifts

It is kind of a little cheesy, dated shop but it should put you in a festive mood! Honestly, if you are looking to not spend money and want to do a mini parade of homes, just walk or take a lap around the German Village neighborhood....

I will say the real staple of Columbus is right next door to Red Stable though... Schmidt’s Sausage Haus... The townies will tell ya it is the best sausage and brawts... get some GIANT-ass cream puffs or german chocolate cake here too.

Address: 223 E Kossuth St, Columbus, OH 43206
