When the pandemic started everyone assured us "October is a long way out, you'll be fine." Deep down we knew that Covid wasn't going to just go away in a matter of months. So we came up with a contingency plan and now we have to put that plan in action.

October 10th, 2020 we will have a private elopement ceremony on our deck with our moms and our Seattle family. This pandemic gave us a sense of "if anything were to happen to either of us..." and that's why we're getting married instead of just postponing all together.

October 10th, 2021 we will have a public nuptial ceremony followed by an amazing reception and we can all laugh dance, chat and swap stories about how awful Covid was. In 2021 we can safely have our families come together and celebrate. By then we should be able to safely hug our grandmas and see all the aunties and uncles.
