A long, loooong time ago, in this galaxy, Marcela was hatched!

In another galaxy far, far away (jk, it was just in Virgina) Joseph, graciously greated the world.

On a cold February morning, Marcela went to live with her father. As his only child, he did his best to teach her the important life skills of working hard and persevering through hard times.

One day, Joseph embarked on a long and grueling journey to the far-off lands of Lubbock, Texas. He wasn't sure if his pony would make it, but he knew that the flames on his shirt would ignite the forge of his manhood.

Lost in a world with no clue about what to do with her life, Marcela decided to join the Marine Corps.

Following his proud military lineage, Joseph joined the Marine Corps, graduating from boot camp on August 28th, 2015.

Amidst the hollering, gunpowder, and pew pews, Joseph found his way out of the range pits (in the suave manner that he does) and onto the firing line. Lo and behold, he saw this small Mexican chick trying to be a boss (#fail) and said hello.

Throughout their time on the range, they chit-chatted a bit, telling inappropriate jokes and stories, but neither of them thought much of it and went on with their lives.

Several years later, fate would have them find each other on the firing range they first met. Marcela was happy to see his familiar face. She enjoyed sharing coffee with him in the morning and top ramen at night.

After the range in April, Marcela decided to make a bold move and sent Joseph a message. She was super nervous because he knew how dorky she was and he was just so super cool. Much to her surprise, he replied.

Over the weeks that passed, they talked on the phone day and night (not an exaggeration), getting to know each other better. Marcela and Joseph finally decided to hang out and she drove Lubbock to see Joseph. Joseph had made Marcela dinner, and then he took her out on his motorcycle. This would mark their first date.

In July of 2021, Marcela decided to move to Lubbock, and the rest was history. Or was it....

As time went on, Joseph and Marcela started to get the feeling that they loved each other (duh). Not long after this realization, they started creating their family.

They added each beautiful piece with joy in their hearts.

They were blessed with wonderous surprises.

No matter what hardships and trials they faced, Joseph knew one thing was certain. He wanted Marcela to be his wife.
