How/when do I RSVP?
Your link to RSVP will be available with our formal invitation we will send by email.
Please RSVP by July 21/2024 and let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend.
Unfortunately anyone who does not RSVP or RSVPs after the date above will be marked as "no" as we must have final numbers into our venue at this time. We hope you understand and we will miss celebrating with you!
What time should I arrive?
Our ceremony is set to begin at 6pm, we ask that you arrive by 5:30pm (or earlier) so you can enjoy a welcome drink, get to chat, enjoy the view and find your seat before all the festivities begin
Will there be parking?
Yes! L&W has lots of parking available and guests are ok to leave vehicles overnight as long as they are picked up before 11am the next morning!
We will also have a shuttle going back and forth between the venue and The Old Orchard Inn and there are taxis available to other locations.
We want to enjoy the night with everyone but our #1 priority is everyone getting home safely :)
Will there be transportation between the hotel and event?
Yes!
We will be providing a shuttle between the Old Orchard Inn and the venue! More info to come
Will this be an outdoor event?
Yes! (We hope)
As long as the weather cooperates we hope to have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. Our dinner will be indoors in the L&W wine cellar and the reception will follow in their outdoor tent which is covered but may have open sides. Outdoor events will be moved inside if needed.
Please prepare for the forecast as we can never predict how the weather will act this time of year
Can I take photos throughout the ceremony/reception?
We kindly ask for an "unplugged ceremony" meaning no phones/devices out and that they are turned off/silent during this time. You will have an opportunity to take photos at a given time per our officiant but we've hired an AMAZING photographer who will be taking photos during this time and we'd like to avoid any phones/devices in the background of said photos however we strongly encourage our guests to take photos and videos during the rest of the evening and would love if you'd send them to us to enjoy as well!
We'll also make sure all of the ceremony photos are available to guests as soon as we have them :)
Is there a Dress code?
We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! Our dress code is semi-formal, no jeans please!
As parts of our event will be outdoors please check the weather and be mindful our ceremony is on grass so choose your shoes accordingly!
You can wear whatever colours you'd like however we ask you avoid colours traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories and creams :)
Can I Bring a Plus One?
If your guests name is listed or "and guest" is indicated on your invitation, then yes! Otherwise, due to limited capacity at the venue, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close family and friends!
Are Children Invited?
While we love all of your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event (the only exception being those in our bridal party). Due to limited capacity and the nature of the venue we hope you understand and are able to enjoy a night off to relax and celebrate with us, we're so excited for you all to be there!
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you - lets have fun!
We will also have many non-alcoholic choices for those picking that option so everyone can enjoy the night!
On your invitation there will will be an alcohol and non-alcohol beverage package to choose from, please inform us there which you prefer so we can prepare :)
What time will food be served?
As the ceremony begins at 6pm we will likely begin with cocktail hour snacks around 6:45pm and dinner around 7:30pm.
Please allow yourself a snack beforehand if you think you may get peckish earlier in the night but have no fear there will be A LOT of food to help with any hunger pains once we get started :)
