When formal invitations are sent out, we will have an option to RSVP on our wedding website.
Can I bring a date?
While we wish we could celebrate with everyone, we hope you understand our need to limit our guest list -- invitations have been addressed directly to our guests. For example, your envelope would list "(your name) & Guest." For families, it will list "(your last name) Family." When you go to RSVP, you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.
Is there transportation to and from the hotels to Wood Acres Farm?
Yes! The hotel will provide a shuttle service to the ceremony, and plenty of return options throughout the evening. When you check in, the hotel will provide you with the specific times and location of your shuttle.
Is there a dress code?
Yes! The dress code is cocktail attire. We recommend a jacket & tie, maxi dresses, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, etc. The ceremony will take place on the grass, so please keep that in mind when choosing your shoes!
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outside unless it rains. The cocktail hour will be held outdoors on the wrap around pouch. During cocktail hour, there will be horse and carriage rides around the farm, so we recommend a light jacket depending on what weather September brings us! The reception will be indoors.
How does seating work?
The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you please! For the reception, we will be carefully arranging seating.
What do I do if I'm late for the ceremony?
The ceremony will be starting promptly at 5:00 pm, we recommend guests arrive between 4:30-4:45 so there is time to say hello to friends and find a seat. If you happen to be late, our coordinator will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception so hang tight and we will see you at the reception! Thank you for understanding!
Is there parking available at Wood Acres Farm?
Yes, there is guest parking! There are signs posted once you pull into the driveway.
