It all started with a phone call at 6am in the morning. My best friend Andrew called telling me there was this girl I had to start talking to. I told him we could talk about it later, after I woke up. Later that day when I got to work he started telling me about this girl he used to work with and offered to get in touch with her for me. After a little bit of talking me up he got her number for me. We started texting and by the end of that day we had scheduled our first date. A few days later at the first date we clicked and I had a feeling she may be the one. A month later I knew for sure she was the one. The rest is history.

For me, it started with a snapchat message. I was chilling in my room when I got a message from an old coworker of mine. He told me he had a friend that I had to meet. He told me his name was Eric, he was a strong Christian, and that he loved the outdoors. He thought we would really get along, so he asked if he could give him my number. I had a really peaceful feeling about it so I said, “yes”. Soon after I received a text from Eric. We started texting and hit it off. The first date was scheduled and I was NERVOUS! My first date ever, I had no idea what he looked like, and it was still during covid. But I showed up and we had a blast! A coffee date turned into a dinner date and even after the 5 hour date I didn’t want to say goodbye. He told me it was my turn to plan a date, so I did. Everything about Eric and this relationship has been such a blessing from the Lord. Eric is the best gift I could have ever asked for and I am so excited to see what adventures the Lord and life take us on. Best “yes” I’ve ever said.
