The day we started our love story... We parked in the Elden's parking lot and Ethan grabs a pineapple from the back seat of the pick up (IYKYK, Mariah used to be obsessed with pineapples) this was his version of flowers, very thoughtful ;) He then asked me to be his girlfriend and we trekked our way over to inspiration peak...the rest is history.

Going to College together... Wonder what life would've been like if Ethan did in fact go to Moorehead State, like he was originally planning. He stayed behind for Mariah and now they're preparing their vows. Our time in college together was a blast and often talked about when we're together with all of our friends. We love reminiscing on that time in our life.

We're expecting a baby boy... We found out the night of April 10th, just got home from gun raffle bingo. Mariah snuck away to the bathroom for 30 seconds and came back with a positive pregnancy test. Thank goodness Ethan was already laying down when he was shown the test. We made some life adjustments, bought Ethan's childhood home and started preparing for our baby boy's arrival.

Life's greatest gift, our baby boy... A day we will never forget. Putting up the Christmas tree at work, put Mariah in labor. We drove 80mph the whole way to the hospital with a state trooper not far behind. Praying the whole time he doesn't pull us over. Xander Thomas was born just after midnight at 12:34 (we love the time he was born, so easy to remember.)

We're engaged! What I thought was a ranger ride to find out where we should take family pictures turned into Ethan getting down on one knee at the hunting shack overlooking the river. A complete surprise! (no family pictures were taken lol) To this day I find myself staring down at my beautiful ring. He has good taste ;)
