Our Wedding

Our friendship began in 2012 at a physical therapy clinic in San Marcos, Texas. Jason was completing his final internship from his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and I had just began working as rehabilitation tech.&nbsp;&nbsp;I invited him to my 22nd birthday for a celebration with friends&nbsp;in the square,&nbsp;&nbsp;but unfortunately&nbsp;he wasn't able make it. Instead he invited me to dinner in Gruene, Texas where for the first time we got to enjoy time together and I got to know more about this down to earth yet humorous guy I worked with for almost a year. We started dating that summer knowing that our relationship would have to be long distance for a few&nbsp;years.

Although long distance brought ups and downs,&nbsp;we found a way to make San Antonio to Houston work. The support and love I found in Jason were some of the most invaluable qualities that helped me get through the 3 years of&nbsp;PT school.

Where it all began..

Two months after I moved to San Antonio, Texas to begin working, we had a work trip to Orlando, Florida. We decided that on the third and last day we would go to Epcot-Disney World since neither of us had ever been. Florida was good to us despite the very recent Hurricane Matthew. We were able to make it to&nbsp;Epcot and we even "went around the world" (only took about 23,000 steps). Needless to say we were both pretty exhausted and for this reason I was not only confused by the sudden flashes of light but also a little bit worried Jason had fallen. Nope. He had arranged a Disney photographer to take the pictures of THE PROPOSAL. The "did he just fall?" was actually Jason getting on one knee to pop the question. And then there were fireworks...
