Q + A

Who asked who out first?

On a date? Joshua of course!

How did you meet?

We met at a house function and the rest is history. But Joshua has a fairytale story in his head where it was apparently love at first sight with an orchestra playing the background.

What is your favorite part of the other person?

Marianne: The way he makes my days easier and how he's the kindest person I know and he doesn't let that become a weakness for himself. Joshua: It's hard to give one answer because there's a lot of things I love about her. But my favorite thing about her is her sense of humor and the way she hits me when she laughs, and she has a beautiful smile. I love her hugs, I love our drives and our Disney sing-a-longs, and I love how much effort she puts in our family and making sure we're stable, she sacrifices a lot for our family and I love how she's an excellent mom for Milo.

What should the guests wear? Is there a specific color to stick to?

We ask that guests follow the 'no denim' rule and to stick to a semi-formal/cocktail attire, keeping in mind the warmer temperatures of the venue. We want you guys to be comfortable but we also want to look good for pics! You will find the color pallets for guests to follow below.

How long will it take to get my passport?

According to Travel.State.Gov: "Current Processing Times: Processing times have returned to our pre-pandemic norm. As of December 18, 2023, passport applications will be processed within 6-8 weeks for routine service and 2-3 weeks for expedited service, which costs an additional $60." If you plan on celebrating with us and still do not have a passport book or card, we urge you to to start the process now!
