Are the ceremony and the reception in the same place? Yes! The ceremony will take place on the ground floor of the Torpedo Factory Art Center, in the Main Hall. There will then be a cocktail hour on the 3rd floor while our vendors rearrange the Main Hall, and then it's back to the ground floor for dinner and dancing until midnight!

Is the Torpedo Factory handicap-accessible? Yes - you can enter the Main Hall via ramp, and there are elevators up to the 3rd floor.

What food and drink will be served? There will be passed appetizers during the cocktail hour, and then a buffet-style barbecue dinner during the reception. There will be an open bar for both events.

Will there be vegetarian/allergy-friendly dinner options? Yes - there will be multiple vegetarian items available for the buffet, and there will be absolutely no peanuts in anything (Marie is allergic!). We will also be asking about your allergy/dietary needs when RSVPs open, if you have any specific concerns.

How should I get to the venue? If you are staying at the Westin Old Town Alexandria as part of our group reservation, the hotel will provide a free shuttle to and from the Torpedo Factory. Otherwise, since garage and meter parking can get expensive, we recommend taking an Uber/Lyft, catching the free King Street Trolley down to the waterfront, or simply walking from your hotel or the King St Metro station!

Are children allowed at the ceremony/reception? Absolutely! We can't promise they'll be entertained, but we'll be happy to see them! Just don't give them any alcoholic beverages, please.
