We have reserved a block of rooms at the Westin Alexandria Old Town for a group rate of $199/night, from Friday 10/17 to Sunday 10/19. The Westin is conveniently located in Old Town Alexandria, close to the King St and Eisenhower Ave Metro stations and just 1.6 miles from the Torpedo Factory.

In addition to the Westin, there are numerous other hotels in Old Town Alexandria at various price points. We do recommend staying within the Old Town/King St area - Northern Virginia traffic is famously unpredictable!

Old Town Alexandria is accessible by plane, train, and automobile alike!

By plane: Reagan National Airport (DCA) is a 10-minute drive from Old Town, or just 3 stops away on the Metro. Dulles International Airport is also about a 40-minute drive from Alexandria.

By train: Alexandria has its own Amtrak stop right on King Street, within walking distance of many hotels; alternatively, you can take the train to Union Station in DC.

By car: The Westin offers valet parking for $45/day, and most hotels will offer their own parking accommodations. Otherwise, Old Town has multiple parking garages, metered street parking, and 2-hour street parking. It is also very quick and cheap to take Uber or Lyft in Alexandria - we would recommend this over driving to and from the Torpedo Factory!

Should you find yourself with a few free hours during the wedding weekend, Old Town Alexandria is a lovely, walkable waterfront area - no need to go into DC!

King Street is lined with numerous restaurants and independent shops, and the waterfront itself is a great place to grab a drink or a snack and enjoy the view of the Potomac, or even take a boat tour! There is also a free trolley that runs the length of King Street and can drop you off at any point along the way.

We also highly recommend visiting the Torpedo Factory during its regular opening hours (i.e., before or after the wedding!) for a chance to see some wonderful local artists at work.
