FAQ

Is there a dress code?

For a semi-formal wedding, men should wear a button down shirt and dress pants, tie is up to you, while women can wear a cocktail/nice sundress dress, or a dressy jumpsuit. The attire should between casual and fancy. There is no specific color to be worn, but our colors are dark purple, and dusty blue.

Is there an open bar?

The bar is BYOB — please bring what you'd like to drink. We’ll provide water and soda, and ask that guests drink responsibly: Perrysville is rural with limited rideshare options, so plan transportation ahead of time.

Is the reception a different location from the wedding?

The ceremony and reception are at the same venue. After the ceremony, the wedding party and close family will go to a nearby location for photos; guests should remain at the venue and the reception will begin once we return.

When is the RSVP deadline? And what should I do if I haven't RSVPed but plan to attend?

Our RSVP deadline was March 1, 2026. If you haven’t RSVP’d but plan to attend, please contact bride or groom directly as soon as possible to confirm availability—we can’t promise a seat, but we will do our best to accommodate you.

Who should I contact if I have questions?

Please contact Marie Gravier (she works from home) for questions — Facebook or phone are best.

What time should guests arrive?

The ceremony begins at 6:00 PM. We recommend arriving between 5:30 and 5:50 PM to allow time for parking and seating. If you need extra time or accessibility accommodations, please contact Marie or Noah in advance.

What is the weather usually like in May in Ohio?

In May, Perrysville, Ohio typically has mild, spring-like weather with average daytime highs in the low 70s°F and overnight lows near the low 50s°F. Expect mostly pleasant, partly sunny conditions, but plan for a chance of rain and occasional cooler or breezy periods—layers and a light jacket are recommended.

What's the closest airport?

Akron–Canton Airport (CAK) — ~30–40 minutes from Perrysville, convenient for regional flights. John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) — larger airport with more flight options, about 1.5–2 hours away.

Can I bring a plus one that isn't listed?

Please contact Marie or Noah directly to request an additional plus one — the RSVP deadline has passed, so we can’t promise a seat, but we’ll do our best to accommodate your plus one.
