Marina and Cory first met after Marina’s cousin Brielle’s bridal shower. Brielle and her fiancé (now husband), Taj, hosted a small gathering — and among Taj’s friends was Cory. From the moment they started talking, the conversation flowed effortlessly. The banter felt natural, and it quickly became clear they were meeting someone special.

What began as a jokingly “long-distance” relationship — Cory in Manayunk, Marina in Manahawkin — soon turned into weekends together that stretched on for days. Early on, Marina introduced Cory to Tampa, Florida, and he loved it so much he eventually bought a home there.

Before long, Cory brought Marina to Philadelphia, where she embraced the city’s energy and became a devoted Eagles fan — even (half-jokingly) taking credit for their 2025 Super Bowl win.

Now, between city living, beach days, and sunny getaways to Florida, they’re looking forward to exploring new places, sharing new experiences, and building a lifetime of adventures together.
